Just did and it works perfectly.

Hello everyone. Based from the messages in this thread, I can expect this bug to be fixed by the released of 1.0 stable, is that correct?

I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017, and I've been having problems with the screen resolution reverting back to a 1440x878 every time I start the game.

Bugs / Re: World Creation Preview Black
December 06, 2015, 02:38:03 PM
Only the World Preview is broken, everything else seems to be working as it should.

I've tried what is in the other thread and it did nothing.

I've had this happen before when playing fullscreen on Windows.  I can reproduce it every time if I hit the Win key (minimize the game) and restore it. Changing the Mode will redraw the preview properly, but switching back to the original Mode just gives the same black screen.

Try switching the view Mode to something else and see if you get anything.  Does restarting the game have any effect?  What's your operating system?  What version of RimWorld?  Try to update your graphics drivers; any luck with that?

I'm currently running the most recent version of RimWorld with no mods. I'm using a Macbook with OS X El Capitan.

I've tried switching the view mode, but the preview is still black and restarting the game doesn't do anything either.

I also don't know how to update my graphics drive on a Mac.

Bugs / World Creation Preview Black

So I just got Rimworld for the first time in my Mac, completely fresh install.
I  try to create a new world, but the preview is completely black.
I can select landing places, but the preview remains completely black.

Note, I have no mods installed.

General Discussion / Bad Binging Time
March 04, 2015, 02:56:29 PM
So I one of my colonist is sick and as soon as she needs treatment, she goes binging ಠ_ಠ

Because of this, her plague went from minor to extreme.
Bad time to go binging.

Has anything like this happened to you before? Post it down below.

General Discussion / Wild Animals with Chronological Age
February 22, 2015, 05:49:57 AM
Just like the title says, I have noticed some animals have a chronological age, usually one year older than the biological age.

Is this a bug, or is it intentional?

Alright this wasn't easy but I think I tracked the issue or at least whats causing Inventory to fail.
Unless this was already found in that case ah well =p let those who are new to this problem see at least.
This is a vanilla colony no mods besides EdB Interface.
Where there is an unfinished stone flooring blueprint it gives this

But as soon as I cancel it to goes back to normal, I tried this theory multiple times and every time pawn start a flooring blueprint (stone in my case) this error pops up.
This is what happens as soon as I cancel it.
Basically all goes back to normal.

This is not the case for me. I get those two exact messages when clicking the Inventory, but I have no unfinished stone floor blueprint. I even tried to cancel every building order in the map, but nothing was cancelled.

Ideas / Rescue people from other factions
January 26, 2015, 01:26:26 PM
Instead of only being able to capture a person from another faction, there should be the option to rescue them or offer them to stay in your colony. Currently if a person from another faction happens to pass by when pirates attack you (or a squirrel goes insane), there is a chance they will be injured or enter a state of shock.
Now, what is the only thing you can you do to help them? Capture them to convince them to join your colony. This just makes their entire faction turn hostile towards your colony. So instead of just having that option of capturing them

To be able to rescue a person from another faction there must be a medical bed and they must be:

  • In shock
OR
  • Injured

This could increase your goodwill with that faction

There's a particular item or building that it's failing to count.  Usually this happens when it's something out of the ordinary from another mod.  Unfortunately, I'm not logging enough information for the console output to be useful.  I've been experimenting in dev mod to try hunt down the culprit, but so far no luck.  I'll keep looking, but if there's a particular building that you can think of that you first added soon before it stopped working or a particular item that you moved into a stockpile, that might help.

There was a message I forgot to show.

Does it help at all?

Are you using other mods?  If so, it's probably some kind of mod incompatibility.  If you open the console (the ` key), there may be an error message there that gives a better idea of what's causing the problem.

The Inventory option doesn't work for me either. When I first installed the mod it worked, but all of a sudden it stopped working and I'm not using any other mods.

I took this picture of the debug log. I'm not sure if this might help
