I guess it's just there as a disclaimer. For example it makes a big difference if people have an internal graphic card. My processor is a little bit faster and I also have a bit more RAM, but the biggest map size lags like hell and is not really playable for me. :/
ya my laptop has an integrated video card (which is the same as an internal video card?) and i can barley play on the medium map sizes :( no rimworld on the go.

hey guys so me and my father built a computer back in '07 or '08 but the video card burnt out about 4 years ago so in '11 but i fixed it anyway i just wanted to see how big the biggest map size was but ended up keeping it because i can keep 60 fps while playing so here is my rig which i don't expect many to have anything like this.
Processor   Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Video Card   NVIDIA GeForce GT 610
Memory   3.1 GB
Operating System   Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit
my cpu is a 64-bit but when we replaced the video card my dad used the wrong disk so when i get more ram i will be changing to a 64-bit

Help / Re: mars mod
May 19, 2015, 05:22:38 PM
yes there is wind on mars and i did overlook that.
but to the solar radiation on the other post: maybe it could be a planet with an atmosphere just not a breathable one or you could do like they did in total recall(1990's) where you had domes. but to the death in 10 minutes part you could land in a suit with a day or two worth of air to help but i was thinking about changing it from a: your main worry is food. to a: your main worry is air. but to do that i guess drop pods of food could crash like 50 or so blocks from a stockpile. but yes this mod would be a huge undertaking but would improve the game drastically. also no idea why i said thinking about making because i know jack squat about modding and if anyone would be willing to give me lessons pm me.

Help / mars mod
May 18, 2015, 07:34:33 PM
so i was thinking about making a mod where you land on a planet without air and you had to make air or somthing like that. so wind turbines would be useless but you would get other benifits though. if anyone knows if this would be possible or if you know of a mod that does this please let me know.

Well the game is in Alpha, and is still obviously not finished. This is used to test various aspects of the game, in an instance, so it is a valuable tool. An entire alpha should not be compromised because a few testers are unable to "not cheat". ;)
well the entire alpha wouldn't be compromised by me wanting to actually see how long i can last
