Everyone is correct this is a feature. The rock is collapsing where it is no longer supported. The thick roof is infinite and will never stop collapsing.

Locked as Resolved (Not an Issue)

Come join us when you get a chance. I try and strive for the best uptime possible as well as updating when needed.

Im working on forums and a better frontpage for the future :) Unfortunately, ease of use will disappear due to working on whitelist implementation. Hopefully server commands come sooner though.

Some logs had been changed in the update which broke the script running that display player count. Fixed now.

Updated currently not displaying player stats for some reason. Will have to see tonight when not busy.

General Discussion / Re: Firefighting

You need to set a Home area. The Home area is where colonists will clean and or put out fires.

Please search next time. This has been covered before as well as is covered on the wiki.

I get to play real pinball anytime I want. My friend ordered this :P

But that pack does look awesome! I love pinball, and playing on the PC could help a bit.

Ideas / Re: Repairing cost

It would probably be helpful to have a rework of how damage occurs. Only have specific events that cause damage (eg raids, lightning, booms, fire, storms, etc) instead of the currently, "Im going to randomly damage a wall to 50% health."

Yeah! Thanks mod for taking you time and posting... I see this, what some users may not be understanding is that Rimpeers is a community to find friends through Rimworld, play with them, etc and hopefully community members can start playing other games together with the result of attracting players outside of Rimworld to our community and then encouraging them to play Rimworld. I don't see why theres a lot of flaming towards this community, player made communities are essential for every video game to allow it to expand and be known by more people.. What many people might not be understanding is that the community isn't closed to Rimworld, it is based on RImworld but made so that members have people to play with ANY game they want...

Going on you saying its not a "pure" RimWorld community, why choose a RimWorld basis? Rimpeers? Should make it more generic if you are expecting to make it more of a gaming community?

That's not how it works. It's drain on the whole powernet that doesn't change. Drain per battery is powernet drain divided by the number of batteries you have. So if you drain 50w and you have 50 batteries is 1w per battery.

that is correct.

also note that batteries have 50% efficiency so if you fill up around empty 10 batteries at once, it will take a very long time to reach their full level.

always fill up around 2-3 empty batteries at once(at most) so that it'll be faster.

The difference between filling 1 battery up with a solar panel and 10 up with a solar panel in one day is about 60Wd. 2-3 is roughly only a differnce of 5-10Wd

Do the disconnected cells of 5 ever have short-circuits, or does that only happen if there's a change in charge?

In reality I think disconnected batteries would discharge over time, but I guess that doesn't happen here.

Short circuit events only occur if connected to a conduit or wall. They are the vessel of which the explosion occurs.

Also a sun lamp connected to a battery and solar panel is consistently on. However as of right now they draw 600w and Im not sure they are supposed to...
