I was having the loading problem, so I manually went through an activated each mod in turn according to crusader's posts at the beginning.

What seems to be the problem is that DarknessRevampSB is not activated in the mod-list given in the download, when in fact it should be activated just before Darkness_Lights_A13. I don't know if they're connected, but when I activated DarknessRevampSB before the other one, I could load games just fine!

Crusader, you might want to modify the mod_list file in your mod, assuming this is the problem everyone has. I hope this helps some people!

I did in fact have Precision X active, and disabling it seems to have fixed the problem. It's a shame that the two clash but I suppose Rimworld doesn't need it anyway. Thanks a load man, you've saved me a great deal of trouble

I recently built a new PC and downloaded Rimworld yesterday, the latest alpha. It worked fine on my old computer, but for some reason freezes on this one. I immediately installed mods and so figured that was the problem, however deleting all Rimworld associated folders and files and reinstalling it fresh (without mods) leads to the same issue. What happens is that after a few minutes in game, the picture freezes but moving my mouse around still produces sounds. Dxdiag shows my graphics drivers to be correct, and I've had no issues with other games. It's a damn shame, because I miss this one!
