I'd even be willing to let a prisoner "earn" his release by cleaning up and hauling stuff around the colony for some set period of time. It would give them a way to get out of that 4x3 hellhol... er, room I made for them.....

I would kill (irony intended) for a non-lethal taser gun I could use on berzerk colonist/prisoners. I'll have to keep a wooden club (and a melee specialist to use it) around for those times.

You could attach these explosives to prisoners, Send them toward the enemy and use a separate colonist to activate the explosive detonation. This could also be combined with the animals that you have tamed, perhaps attaching an explosive device to a monkey(Sitting atop a tortoise:/?) and sending them towards enemy raiders. Of course any one of your colonists could easily attach a vest to themselves and manually detonate it once the target is close enough. I do not find this particular feature to be incredibly difficult to program, as Boomalopes and Boomrats already exist and most likely already contain the functions you would need to implement such a feature.
I'm not so sure that turning my Rimworld into a Taliban simulator is a very good idea........

I can't get the Colonist Bar to show at all. the only Mods I have active are Core -> EdB Mod Order -> EdB Colonist Bar. The Mod order seems to be working when I check it (although it has to be restarted every time I start the game), but the Colonist Bar never shows when I load a game or start a new game.....
