I've got something similar today
(that is why i am "necro posting" this thread  as it is still the first ludeon one
for searching "rimworld mods disappeared workshop"):
the games shows the disappeared mod like in the attachment, and if i try to go to it on workshop it states:
"Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:
There was a problem accessing the item. Please try again."
seems like the mod has  been removed, but i already had it added to my game and so when i load it warns me.
It is weird that  a removed mod just goes poof and snatches it out even from my game.

Yes i personally largely prefer as it is easier to install for an offline (out of steam) version a mod from forum then from workshop of steam.
And i don't let a steam update (where half of my 50 mods update and other half does not) ruin my playthrough (again) ... so steam serves only as a glorified mod hub (with aditional hooks to use then the forum)

Hi all,
is there a mod that permits to stop or freeze a colony temporary (so you can focus on a second one without the first having events / needing your attention) ?
so that i can come back later ...
I am asking as i could not find something like this, but it might well be a subfunction of an already existing mod (i guess) ...

Sorry to hear what happened to you,
That is why rimworld is one of those games where i only play a local copy.
That makes me think, will the DLC be available on rimworld site - download (as the game is if bought on site), or steam only?
As if i would like to integrate in a "new" local version of mine, i would need to download it from site as i always do.

There's no way to bypass the upkeep cost of undead right now.  I might add an option in the settings menu to disable it for "fun" playthroughs.

I tried looking in the raws but found not by myself.
Is there a way to disable the sustain mana cost of having undead pawns (rised by necromancers) ?
Trie to play an unbalanced-fun scenario ...

It is even worst,
when you go back online, it forgets which mod was checked and wich was not and in what order ...
Try to rebuild the good-load order for 40+ ... no thanks ...
next time i'll play i'll do it with the non steam version, too much fustration is just too much ...

Hi, how are you going to detour the check? (will it work for modded resources too?) And also, will we be able to add it to an existing colony (or should i wait for it, before begining one)?

I was looking but without a success. Are there any mods giving a more compact way of storage?
I remember in older versions but they didn't seem updated

Hi i played around with some contrest on embrasure, as the colors did not matched that well in my installation. You can use it if you like (example => walls.png with vanillia right-down and some modded materials left-up corner, to show some color variants), it is still not perfect on really bright material colors but works better.

First:
i got the mail about the new version (bought it last year), and the download page does not let me download it, says:
"Unable to complete secure transaction"

for the versions before i never encountered (has downloaded most of them from the beginning) this problem so i guess it is an issue on
sendowl.com -s side, but i though you might see with them into this problem, as it is Rimworld i can not get. (well i can with an IE but for reasons i really prefer to use Opera (security for one), it is just the best for two (imho please do not flame) )
Second:
I got an internal error (this one on ludeon.com/forums while trying to post this post the first time):
"500 - Internal server error
Sorry, we goofed. Something's wrong in our server."
while trying to post (and it is not the first time, other times i got this i just abandoned posting but now it seems persistent) with Opera browser
(i used now IE but it is annoying to be forced to switch for everything Rim-related to IE)

i think it would make some security problems (which might be the origin of this download / timers in the origin)
(if it guess up to 5 at each update that should be enough i think, hope it is not painful for Tynan to request ...) then at the final release hopefully there will be a simpler system to release ...
