Mods / Re: Can't load my save game

I restarted the game and loaded it again and now it loaded the game. No idea what happened. Clearly a mod had a hiccup or something.

Mods / Can't load my save game
January 12, 2017, 09:25:28 PM
I played for a while in a game, I could save and got no errors in the logs. I tried to reload the save now and it doesn't want to load it, it gives an error. Here's the log:

I got the Tribe Aid event in my game earlier today, and I sent a pawn to rescue the downed pawn, but halfway the downed pawn decided to walk and go to my medical bed by themself and I could not interact with it at all. So it died of bloodloss. Is this a vanilla issue or related to hospitality or another mod? I've seen this before but I can't recall when(prolly A15) without this mod.
Vanilla issue, what happened was that his wounds (which are set to give him 'extreme' pain to down him) healed quick enough to change the 'extreme' pain to 'severe' pain, thus making him able to walk again.

It should take into account the amount of bleeding also. That pawn was bleeding like 500% and had 6 hours left before dying. There's no way you can save them. Plus if you play on the biggest map, there's clearly 0% chance.

And how am I supposed to find the saboteur with over 20+ colonists? This is the part I hate from your mod. I don't feel like playing "Where is Waldo" in a micro management game. That's just tedious and a huge waste of time. Would make sense if they would do something a real saboteur would do like you know, like blowing up a power generator or destroy coolers, or destroy a wall or something. Leaving doors open is just ridiculously stupid and just plain annoying.

There's already a heart attack event that can happen on older colonist. Why add a stroke one? That's redundant don't you think?

I disable the sabotage event yet there's still a colonist leaving doors open. Please fix this.

The soda mod addon for Vegetable garden doesn't show up in the Rimfridge filters. It worked the first day it was updated to A16, then it stopped working after the recent update.

Well, from looking at it, it doesn't appear to be rottable, so that's why it's not in the filter.  Beer is also not rottable, but has a special case that makes it give a "frosty" positive thought if a colonist drinks a cold beer.

Why not allow everything like with the stockpiles? That would solve the issue with any other mods that adds stuff to stockpiles. Wouldn't it?

I tried to refill a steam vent with the laser drill filler, it just doesn't want to sit properly on the geyser. I can put it right next to it but it won't detect the hole. Plus it has a white outline like those of the sunlamps have, I don't think that's necessary. Could it be a conflicting mod? Or is it just broken?

I'm getting a few errors in the log that I'm quite sure are related to this mod. I might be wrong but here is a link to the log:

Please let me know if it is or related to another mod so I can inform the correct mod author. Thanks!
Those are plant errors from alpha15. What version of my mod do you have? Do you have another mod that has a plant in it? I removed all them errors at 16 launch.

Well that's weird because I only have one plant mods and it's yours and it's the alpha 16 version on steam that I installed. So I have no idea why I get those errors. I also just uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it. I'm getting those errors still. Do you have any idea which other mod could conflict with this one? The other mod that I just thought of is Rimkea Holiday Special Edition that has Holly that you can grow. Could that be it?

Is there a maximum of factions in a game? Does this mod allow for an infinite amount of factions on a map?

Ideas / Re: Alcohol should boost low temp. resistance.

Alcohol prevents things from freezing. Having enough alcohol in your blood is good against freezing to death.
Could be a fun way to hold off snapcold damage.

There's a story about the chef from the Titanic who survived in the water for a long time, and he told his rescuers he was full of gin or something like that.
It does work.
