actually I don't know nothing about c++ or xml :P I just wnatd to show you his mods that maybe coud give you and additional inspiration.Plsss don't let this ideia die, I really wanna see this since I started to play Rimworld!

Have you ever seen dubs mods?Maybe you could integrate some of his ideas, like underground water, and other things like gather water for rain, and tribal ways to gather water as well.Good luck, I would love to see this mod finished, and when you start this, if you need someone to test, you can count on me :)

You didn't blow off, don't worry  :P, actually, you got the simple point that I was missing, aesthetic, just that( just would come along with that simple mechanics to decrease the light received as penalty, no power needed, but vegetables inside it can resist to lower temperature, nothing too low, just -10cÂș or something like that).Maybe you don't see why to insert a thing like that, but I really don't like to start the game and rush to hidroponics and stuff, even with energy I try to keep a "real" pace on how they figure out nobody it's coming to rescue them, and etc...an I don't think that somebody that just waked up from 300 years of cryogenic sleep would construct a solar panel just to loght up their lamps :P I think you've got the ideia behind this ideia that I told you.

I use dub's, but I still would like to see the "drink water need" and the reality that this would bring to the game( and difficulty), but I know how hard is C++ and etc...But about de greenhouse, plant your vegetables and put them inside a woodenbox doesn't look natural to me, maybe one day somebody tries to make a mod just to make a real greenhouse.

Hello everybody, I searched the entire forum and did not find any mod on the need for water or a mod with greenhouses. If someone knows one for version b18, please tell me the name or pass the link. If someone is thinking about creating the mod greenhouse, an interesting idea would be that the plants planted in it would receive a penalty in the light received, but would withstand a lower temperature before dying
