I'm new to the game, and already I'm wondering what incentive there is to build outdoors.  I understand that I can simply "just say no" to making a mountain vault.  But ideally a game should present one with tradeoffs that make the outdoor/indoor decision an interesting one.  I do think I'll try making my next colony outdoors just because I want to.  But I'm curious -- are there any advantages to a non-mountain colony?

Thanks.  I suppose I should have mentioned that I've already spent a lot of time perusing the Released forum; I just was wondering if there was a single mod that really focuses on adding to the tech tree and the list of craftables.  A mod whose main purpose is to make a much larger tech tree and much larger list of things to craft.  It sounds like I may want multiple mods.  I'll just keep poring over the long list of mods in the Released forum, I guess.

I don't have dropbox, but it's okay, I'll just keep looking myself.  Thanks again.

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to the game, and I'm loving it.  I'm wondering: is there a mod that adds a lot more stuff to the game -- more techs and more things to craft?  I like making things.  :)  Thanks in advance.
