Lemme start this by saying I'm going off the video, and not trying to be offensive, just trying to help. I'm also an amateur, but speak from experience. the wooden workbenches are a perfect example of the consistent lighting comment, having the highlight on the wall side as if there were a bright light in the wall. it completely breaks the realism of that workbench being in a room with the light on the other side. everything should be lit from the top but not brightly. there shouldn't be any hard highlights or shadows from any direction other than the sun from a fixed position above on any texture, and at the same brightness. some walls have hard deep shadows and others do not(should not). overall it's like a collage of stickers from different magazines over a different shiny magazine page. not objects in a world. each image you have used has depth in itself, but is completely disconnected from the space it's in (the ship chunks are legit). one trick I used was the burn tool at about 20% around the edges and blended it to 85% transparency, might work for things like the trees so they don't have an obvious border and feel more like part of the environment (or to give items/furniture less of a hard edge)... but it won't fix the fact that some of them have shadows from the wrong direction on the leaves as an example. some of your source textures also appear to be different resolutions, the floors being a great example. (some don't tile well either) Again..not trying to be too harsh, or discourage you, I'd like to see this be awesome and everything fit as well as those ship chunks one day.  :)

you are off to a good start here with your theme and concept....but, like many "photo realistic" texture packs for other games like Minecraft, it is too much photo and not enough realistic. I had the same problem myself. Everything needs to feel like it's part of the world it's in, not just look like a photo stuck on top of another photo. It needs depth, shading and consistent lighting.

Wanted to chime in on the Mod Medicine Patch issue. It is working perfectly for me along with roughly 30 other mods including VG and SI. I have it nearly last in my load order, below anything adding medicines to the game.

I'm on the fence about this one... but from my limited experience with modding communities on indev games, waiting for content updates may be the best choice. Minecraft for instance, when Mojang released bugfix updates deep into a release cycle like this it ended up splitting the modding community between those who wanted to wait/not wait for a major content change to update mods and kinda forced the community to split into two versions of the game... repeatedly... until you have the hot mess that is current Minecraft with legacy versions out the wazoo and different sets of mods for all of them. I don't want to go through that mess with another game. lol

on the subject of realism... I got my first rifle, a single shot bolt action winchester 22, when I was 7; after I had shown that I was capable of handling and cleaning it responsibly. I wasn't allowed to use anything higher caliber unless on a hunt with adults until I was about 13. Even then, I wasn't allowed to shoot anything bigger than a 270 until I was 18. and handguns were off limits until about 15 or 16. also..monkey with an ak-47 baby edition would be pretty funny.

after giggling at Hydro's Sims wishlist... it brought up the thought that the wooden tub would be a very good in between for teh bucket and showers. also thought about the idea of an in between for plumbing as well.. but it would need some kind of water supply and the ability to dig ditches. (also an idea for irrigation) the sewage would create a mud bog over time that gives a bad smell and increased infection chance to any one that walks in it. so you would have to plan well. maybe a well and fresh water buckets until medieval when hand pumps/windmill could be used and a crude pipe system could be made? also...another idea for making the moisture pump more useful once it's available tech.

Dude, listen. You've been here for 14 posts at the time of this writing, and you've released 3 mods. Slow down man, you're going to burn yourself out!

(Seriously tho', kudos on all of your work.)

If he lives up to his namesake, we are in for a treat. The name Nandonalt is legendary in the Minecraft community.
