They are predators yes. But lonely ones. And I've set their maxPreyBodysize attribute to 0.95 for them to not hunts humans on their own; because their descriptions mentioned them not being that much aggressive
Speaking of that, will you guys ever do something like a document to store information about the creatures? Would be quite nice for people like me who are interested in alien biology and such things :D

I feel like I don't know enough about what this race... does.  Aside from a shift in temperature tolerance, what's different about them?  Unique constructions like the Apini, different research like the crystals, new gear like the Orassans?  What does this mod really add?
AFAIK, race mods take quite a long time to be unique and be filled with new and unique content to the race. Just be patient, I guess.

Don't take me in the wrong way, but shouldn't you make the dinosaurs more scientifically accurate? I mean, t.rex (it's not t-rex!) had some feather there and there, and also velociraptor wasn't this big. he also had feathers.

It's just a suggestion though, but accurate dinosaurs would be more fun and realistic (in my opinion).

While true, the mod creator did add in the Yutyrannis which does in fact in this mod have feathers. There's an in-game reason why the normal Tyranno doesn't have feathers in the mod.

Will we ever be able to craft feral weapons? I mean, it would be cool if when we start a game with the tribal scenario selected, we could (with a research?) be able to build these makeshift firearms, till we can't get more advanced weapons etc etc.

I'm making a playable dinosaur-like race mod.

I'll be posting the progress here in this post (scroll down for updates), so if you like it stay tuned please! Also note that things in the visual area may change too, since I suck at art.
