General Discussion / "Blog" link in ludeon.com and rimworldgame.com point to http instead of https
August 25, 2015, 10:34:02 AM
First, sorry if this is supposed to be in the bugs forum, I didn't think so since it's not a bug in the game.
Since about a week or so, every time i click on the "Blog" button in ludeon.com using Firefox, i get redirected to 500.shtml (which is non-existent), but if I just write ludeon.com in the adress bar i get to ludeon.com/blog/.
I found out it's because the URL the button points to starts with http while the working adress starts with https. It seems like Firefox is doing something to prevent me from going to the unsecure version, since chrome works fine (didn't try IE).
All the other links use https, so I assume this is just a mistake, and it wouldn't be a problem to change it.

General Discussion / Re: Mounted turrets and autoturrets

I think you got the changelog wrong. It says:
QuoteTurrets can now require manning to work. This is the case for artillery.I think what this means is, a turret type can require manning (as a concept), and the artillery, which will be added in alpha 5, does. It does not mean that the current turret requires manning. That is at least what I understood from it.

Ideas / Re: Your Cheapest Ideas

I have just looked at the changelog, and noticed the following line:
QuoteBed is now made of wood.Does that mean it requires wood to build? Because if it does, I have a better idea: have two kinds of beds, a metal bed and a wooden bed. Each will require its own material to buld. The metal bed will be more resistant, but only have a sleeping efficiency of 9 instead of the regular 10. The wooden bed will be prettier, and have the max 10 sleeping efficiency.
