I think I finally figured it out. It's the pirate merchant. A weird change, for sure. Or maybe wild boars don't count as boring ol' livestock any more?

Are you sure? The tribal bulk trader and the outlander bulk trader both would not take my wild boars.

I can't for the life of me figure out which caravans buy your animals now. The Rimworld wiki was no help and only talks about "exotic" animals. Is this no longer a thing?

A universe where you can have sex for pleasure all you want without the risk of having children and you can control population growth with full efficiency, and you guys think this is BLEAK?? It seems like an ideal scenario to me...

Threads like this are why I post very little on this forum. It seems to be full of redpiller types who will scream victimhood at any sort of mention of prejudice or bias in a video game. A strong sense of entitlement that comes from being in a male-dominated hobby, coupled with a male-dominated subculture, gives results like these. Whiny little bitches that make all other men look bad.

I know a lot of people were hoping for rocket-turrets (because I was one of said people), but there's a good chance they just got changed into the single-shot rocketlaunchers we have in the game today.

If you want a good rocketlauncher, try More Vanilla Turrets. It's got a great rocket complex. It uses shells though, not rockets.

Your defensive positions are horrible. How do you defend your base? Close off the north side and plant some turrets on the south side chokepoint.

Where are your sources of joy?

And why do you have so many prisoner beds? I don't play at high difficulties, but do you really need five prisoner beds?? Oh well.

Organize your stock better and put a door closer to your workshops. Likewise, put a door from your food stock that goes right into the cultivated fields. Maximize flow, in other words: make sure that your pawns have to take a minimum of steps to do the logical progression of work (harvest, carry food to food stocks, take food from food stocks to cooking area, store finished meals).

I agree with scanning for predators regularly. But when I play on an ice sheet, I also always wall myself in, with one door for traders. Predators don't go through doors, as far as I can tell. Even if they do, just block the door until you need to open it.

What do our pawns watch on TV? I like to imagine that what they're getting is basically the weirder end of public access television. A bunch of quackpots and survivalists hosting shoestring budget "shows." Maybe something like this:

This game is already complex enough without all this wild speculation entering the picture.
