Play it without mods. Or with fewer mods.
Problem solved.

You're overreacting, or being sarcastic.

Well... that's a bonus ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Animals don't care about forbidden stuff. They'll eat and drink and sniff everything that they encounter in front of them. Here's an example:

Oh, wait. That... well.

In orden to restrain the consuption of your pets, you need to make an area were they can do what pets do, and of course, the stockpile were you have the stuff shouldn't be part of this area.
Thankfully, the "invert" option is usefull in this case. You can make the area right were the stockpile is, invert it, and voilà! The area now is everywere except the stockpile.
I had a lot of dogs and cats with cyrrosis and cocaine Wake-up addiction until I figured it out.

Yeah, it's silly.
I have a genocide colonist who eats people and kill prisoners like cattle (and he already killed cattle in a break) but everything it's okay with him.

Oh, but the blind dude with his eyes scarred? Everyone hates him. He fighted against every single raid and tended almost every hurt colonist. But that doesn't care, he is disfigured.

Ideas / Re: place of worship building

I agree with many here, that pawns should be more social. They should be more close to each other, except of course for antisocial ones. Some places could be asigned to be reunion/hangout/relaxation/meditation/party places. That exists, but pawns could actually hang around in free time, have dinner together, share a meditation/praying hour, stargaze with others, etc.
With Psychology mod, pawns sometimes have conversations with others wile walking and relaxing, that could be a good example.

So, yes. As long as specific religions are not in the game, I think that some specific spots (meditation, so you could build a temple. relaxation, so you could build a bar/pub. etc) could be added in the game, along with deeper social interactions.

Mods / Re: [Mod Request] XCOM 2 Weaponry and Armour

Hey, nice to see other people who loves that game too.
I really like vanilla armour and weapons, but that mod could be cool. Also, don't forget the quintessential mod for the XCOM set: Pawn missing shots even from point blank.

Arid Shrubrand was actually the original biome, as fitting for a Space Western ascetic.

I like it too, but it's year-round growing season + it can still get rich soil (unlike deserts) means that food is rarely ever an issue without ever having to touch hydroponics, even if you'll have to grow a tree farm to make up for the lack of vegetation.
Exactly. And the soundtrack sounds 120% cooler in that biome  8)

General Discussion / Re: Where do my furnitures face?
January 28, 2018, 12:04:32 PM
Exactly, using "E" will rotate the furniture clockwise. So, if you have a dresser facing south (facing you, as for south), with "E" will face west. And so on.

Well, I think that there's nothing bad in showing off a little bit, specially with things well made like these buildings.

Just two questions: why working tables in outdoors and wich mods you used?

Mods?

You have a forbidden stack of food or a stack of food outside the permited animal area?

Temperate forest is like the vainilla one. Simple and balanced whatsoever, but boring after a few games.
I also like Boreal forest, and I found Arid Shrubland very interesting too. Lacks of wood, but the huge meatballs creatures are a pro.

So... I'm between those two.

Stories / Re: Saddest Animal Stories
January 25, 2018, 11:16:39 AM
Lol! It happens to me all the time. I have alpacas and muffalos, and every time there's a raid, I forget to put them into a safe zone. They always end up beaten up with the correspondent miscarriages.
Tip: If your pets get drunk or use drugs all the time, you need to make a "animal zone" and restrict the area where the stuff is. And you can make kibble in the butcher table for them, so they don't have to step into the freezer, potentially drinking your beer.
I have a zone for pets, a zone for livestock and a safe zone for those who can't fight in the raids. You just have to make it and then in the "animal tab" you can decide wich zone is for every animal.

As for a story, once I had a pawn who had a high ability to tame animals, so I often gave her a pet to bound. This pet always ended killed or eaten, all the time. But it was funny, because it always happened to her pets, and quickly!
Poor gal, she was always sad.

Granted. You are the number one in a game show AND a talk show. The game is Ride to Hell 2 and the talk is about flat earth.

I wish Black Sabbath could play one last gig on my town, and I could actually aford it.

Wish granted, but each time you transport, 5 of your most loved ones die in a machiavellic, long and cruel death and you lose a limb each time to repay the transportation.

I wish that I could make my friends buy rimworld.
Granted. Your friends buy Rimworld... and they like it! Actually, they like it so much that they fell in addiction to it. Sadly, they didn't stop playing at any time, even for eat or drink. They're all dead now.

I wish I could play the bass guitar properly.
