I cannot recommend the (I don't remember the name, whoops) more. . . accurate crash landing mod. It can be pretty easy to forget that there was an entire ship to carrying those escape pods. Sure, you get three colonists, that's pretty standard. Open-up Prepare Carefully and: There are no starting items. Huh, that's odd. Start anyway.
Your pods drop. You spawn.
Okay. Pretty standard.

That would be amazing, but then you get the problem of not knowing if a sniper is a dead-eye, or has never laid eyes on a gun before. but cool idea.

i know a mod that lets you make blended leather at a crafting spot (vegetable garden i think) and it works well, my only problem is the item is rainbow, but any clothing is white. but quilts is an amazing idea.

I really enjoy the prison labor mod, it was fun to have 3 colonists for two years but an army of 20+ prisoners doing everything from mining to growing cooking and hauling, cleaning and stone-cutting and beer bottling and smokeleaf joint making. great when combined with the quarry mod and pretty much anything actually.

sorry i really like it.

but i do think the modding community is amazing for this game and makes it so much better in all the right ways.

I thought that was the case but i decided i may as well say something in case someone reads it and believes that everything is full of viruses and as such loses the wonderful world of mods. i don't want to try to disprove anyone or attack anyone, i just want to provide information for people.

my experence with mods has been good and i know that the workshop for mods is fine and the forum mods are almost imeadtly donloaded and if there ever was any virus it would be found very quickly and the modmaker would get the attention of the forum modderators very quickly be fxed or taken down, and if you are not sure just read though the comments, any known issues can be found there.

I personally enjoy using:

Prison Labour: for my evil lynx men only tribe. they dig, they farm, they cook and cut stone!

Beast Men Tribes: Because I like the challenge of only having one race in my tribe specifically lynx people.

Vegetable Garden: because farming is awesome!

Any Weapon Expansions: more guns and varietys to find and make.

Medieval Mod: the next step after tribal's enter the medieval age.

Tribal Planet And Extras: so no crazy energy weapons and pirates. also lore fires and stone ovens

Prepare Carefully: so save and always have my four starting lynx people.
