Mod bugs / Caravan not moving

Hello everyone, I have a bug when sendind pawns into the world map. At first everything was fine, but after entering a trade fair, my caravan won't move anymore. I can use dev mode, but the caravan won't move either except when entering my settlement or site who can be entered (like a bandy camp) but the caravans won't move normally.

The problem doesn't seem to be caused by the trade fair, because I got the same problem with a caravan stuck midway from a doctor request to my settlement.

This is the second run I have had this problem, I started a new one after finding it previously

Mods / [Mod Suggestion] Mega-City ne Judges Faction

Hello, I am a huge fan of Judge Dredd but sadly no modder.
Is it possible for someone to create a new faction based on the Judges from Mega-City One ?

Ideally the judge will all have the following equipment : Judge Helmet and Judge Armor giving bonus to fighting stat and good damage protection as well as the classic judges weapons:
Lawgiver a classic pistol with high damage and several types to simulate the differents bullets can use like Armor piercing Lawgiver or Incendiary Lawgiver
Widowmaker a high damage shotgun
StubGun a very high damge rifle.
Daystick classic melee combat for the judges.

hello could someone create a mod that would add to the game a drug that once administered to an anesthesied patient will make in wake up immediatly ?

Of course, I would prefer if the drug in question could potentially have a dangerous side effect like a 20% chance of causing organ failure, brain damage or even death.

Hello Everyone.

I have  problem with my Rimworld games. I have too many wildlife animals on every map and this cause lagging.
I believe the main problem come from this mod ( be it from the mod itself or some mod incompatibility:

because It started with it and I also have a small problem with a similar mod (Faction Control from the same modder) ( The problem is that afeter changing once the settings the faction scattering is stuck on the nation settings no matter how much I change it and start new games)
The problem did appear after I changed the animal density settings to dense. After realizing they were too many animals I try to start several new games with a parse density setting but the change weren't taken into account.
After another try (removing/reinstalling the mod) I though the problem was resolved because in my new map I only had few animals (56 by Wildlife tab account.) Sadly as in game days pass, more and more animals just come to the map and last time I checked I was at 508 and growing causing the game to lag.
Does anyone have a solution about limiting the number of wild animals into the map ?

Mods / [Mod Request] The value of work

Hello,

Could it be possible to create a mod that's add a work need.
I explain myself: When this need is low, the other pawns will act with defiance or hostility toward the pawn with a low work value, like insulting him or starting a fight or even plotting against him or her for his/her lazyness. The goal of this mod is to give work a value so that lazy pawns will be forced to stop lazying. The work gauge could go up the more a pawn works and maybe, the better his work the better it's goes up like when creating a masterpiece or a legendary object and go down if the object is of a bad quality because the pawn wasted ressources and time. It could go down when pawns are in recreation or eat anything else than simple meals or stay to longer in bed.

I had this idea when one of my pawn could'nt do almost no jobs except social ones and was almost always iddle and I though, why is veryone in this colony tolerating such a lazy guy who just eat first and the best pieces ?

That would be the main idea of this mod, and because I lack the qualification and knowledge I cannot do it myself.

While I totally understand that raiders would shoot on tamed animals to deal max damage, I think this game take the concept too far.
I explain raiders will shoot ANY tamed animal on ANY part of the map like he is colony tagged and I think that this is a bit unrealistic. One example, during a raid, a turtle self tamed and was killed the next second by the raiders. A momment ago she was a innocent turtle, but suddently she became public ennemy N°1.
Could someone release a mod with a more realistic attitude like shooting on any animal they cross wild or tamed in hope of killing one from the colony, that could be reasonable, or only shooting animals in home area or animals you don't find in the wild like labradors or chickens or only shootings animals that are attacking them or something like that.
I don't know if it's possible to add something like that to the game.

Mods / Stepping into the moding world

Hello everyone, I have decided after enjoying the hard work of many modders that I should give it a go.
My first project is creating a new faction called the Ophidians Aka Snake People. They will probably be always hostileand weak in cold climate.
For this mod I will probably be inspired by several mods I have already used.
Here are the ideas so far
4 species .

Cobra with a ranged attack probably a small square range attack causing nausea
Anaconda Melee, once they get to you they will crish you to death. The victime will become stun unable to act untill dead or salvation from a friend. Damage will include for the lucky survivors shattered and crushed bones.
Black Mamba Melee again with a venom attack. Wounds will need constant attention because they will tend to reopen (because of the anticoagulat factor in the black mamba venom)
Taipan or call me elite again melee but faster and deadlier. One bite will cause lost of consciousness and then the venom spreading quickly It will be a race against time hoping for your pawn develop immunuty fast enough

I also want to add baby snake, thet will act like an horde of manhunter squirrels, Pretty fast and small so hard to shoot. The poison is not deadly but will cause pain and a lost of consciouness

They won't use weapon but will be carrying defensive gear to protect themselves.

More thing I want to implant
The possibility of being butchered for two ressources : scales for strong gear without insulation bonus and fangs who can be refined for a poison wine giving a mood boost to the drinker but beware of addiction or fatal overdose.

Faction item only Specific mortar shell for raid called Viper Nest. They will release a bunch of baby snake before the assault.

i will probably wander around the tutorials for a while to try to learn the how to do. i'm open to any suggestion, advice or critic.

I want to create my first mod, and I have the idea about adding a new hostile Predator kind.
There is one function I want to add and that is the stealth function. I explain myself.
Friendly turrest won't be able to shoot at the hostile du to a "stealth factor"  Even better if the same could be done with your pawns meaning that if you don't manually fire at him your pawn will still be looking for targets.

Is this even possible to implant into to game or shoul I forgot about the idea an go a different way ?

I also like the idea, but I think it needs balancing other than just selling power and getting money back
Here are some balancing idea I can think of :

A penalty fee if you cannot sell a predeterminate amount of power with this any event that slow down your power production can have a double impact, and you will have to take extra care of your Power production units during a raid.
The obligation to construct power lines. A modder had already created a mod tt allow you to build road so I think this is easily doable (or many not I'm no modder).

Here are some ideas :

Several ennemy units to go with the necromorph like some cannon fodder ans some tanks that are only here to give the time to the necromorph to do his deed
If you make it a melee fighter a regeneration factor
If ranged try to see if you can give him a sort of disease status to his attacks. I have played a mod that's add tyranids (from the game workshop game Warhammer 40K if you don't know what they are) where they ranged attack cause not only nausea, but wounds that need constant treatment because they tend to reopen
I remember and old mod from a previous version of the game that added an ennmy pawn with a kind of stealth factor, meaning that turrets could'nt attack him. You could make your necromorph a sort of shadow if this is possible.
Well that all of I can think of it for now, don't know if this idea are to your liking or even possible. Good luck with your mod

I made the first line noOp and removed the second line. There still an operation that tries to cast thing as strippable but I'm not that confident of scrubbing it without messing up the execution flow.
