Releases / Re: [1.1] SimpleSidearms (1.4.0)

You could check/adjust the settings shown in the screenshot.
Depending on the stats of the weapon, your pawn may very well be best off keeping the rifle equipped.
If it's going to take along time to warm up the new weapon, and the speed/accuracy change is limited, it would be a waste of time. Try equipping a sniper rifle and a machine pistol or some other combos.
A revolver only has better accuracy than a bolt action rifle within a very small number of cells, and by that point you should probably be getting ready for melee instead.

Maximum warmup percentage means it won't change weapon once you are already close to firing the next shot/volley.
Speed bias makes it more likely to favour a faster weapon as opposed to higher accuracy or damage (my own assumption).

I'm not 100% certain on all of the above, just interpreting the mod menu as best I can. Hope this helps!

A save of this issue would be very appreciated.  Are you playing with mods?  Did you have the Mechanoid faction disabled?  Thanks.
Have just triggered the second round of Spacecraft hacking. Invaded by mechanoids that don't leave immediately as per previous replies, but they just wander around the edge of the map.

Save files:

Mod bugs / Re: 1.3 3080 multiple bugs

Have you tried disabling all mods?
Sometimes it's the mod you would least expect.

I had something similar, where I could not prioritise hauling. Disabled all my mods to try and isolate which one it was, but after reenabling all of them, one by one, the problem never happened again haha
So I guess that's another thing you could try.

Language warning!

Didn't think to grab the log, but I couldn't find a solution other than forbidding the beer.
Not expecting much, just thought I'd share. It's likely due to another mod. I seem to have a fair bit of weird behaviour due to soft incompatibilities, such as pawns with rifles preferring to run in and attack zombies with their fists...

[T] MoreFloors - Vanilla Animals Expanded - Livestock edition

Hi Telkir.

As per the request from Hykal94 on your mod page, I have updated [T] MoreFloors to work with the new wool types created by Vanilla Animals Expanded — Livestock.

Please let me know if you need me to credit you more prominently.

Suggestions are more than welcome if there are other mods which add new wool types.
Hopefully soon I can figure out how to do this as a patch instead of a new copy of a mod. Figured out how to use xpath and made it a patch instead. Hopefully I didn't break everyone's games overnight.

I just had Toxic Fallout that lasted an entire season.
In the end I took my most useful colonists out in a caravan to rescue prisoners and fulfil trade orders. Of course there was a raid at home on our way back, our herds were starving, and all in all it was a horrible experience.

10/10 would rather go camping as soon as the fallout begins, and let the defences take care of any raid.

Also grass takes way to long to regrow.

A few issues.

1.You link to the "Download (includes windows executable)" is broken 404 page not found.
Where did you click on it? I checked on the page, there are no links anymore to it, please use the release page on https://www.github.com/shakeyourbunny/RWMS/releases instead.
The Download link (highlighted below) points to https://www.github.com/releases instead of https://github.com/shakeyourbunny/RWMS/releases

Another solution is use Nirsoft.net produkey program to grab your pcs product key, then buy a samsung portable ssd t5 from amazon and use wintousb by haslo to put win 10 on it thru windows installion media iso from Microsoft.com(free downloads) from there should your ram suffice you can boot from that drive in legacy mode and put just your steam program on it.

Was that just a really awkward way of saying run Windows and Steam on SSD?

Is there any chance of Pick Up And Haul being updated to include something that makes people pick up what they harvest?

I've been playing a lot of Naked Brutality, and having someone run around the map harvesting berries, then running back and forth from the campfire to random corners of the map to grab 10 berries to make each meal is annoying.
I know I can avoid this with more micro, but it would be nice if there were a mod that could help.

I also know that this has been raised multiple times over the past 4 years, but I can't find any response from a mod author stating that this is impossible to add. I do understand that it might be difficult to add "Place item in inventory if there is space for it" to the end of every harvest type job, but if you could, it would certainly be worth a coffee or ten.

Any screenshot?
Mainly not sure which in game menu they've disappeared from?
Are you playing the stable branch? I was having issues with mods earlier today due to playing the unstable 0.19.2017 version.

Unless you're doing translation work, please don't use the unstable branch.
Huh, sorry about that.
I'm not used to being involved in "Early Access"/Beta and not being expected to play the buggiest version.

Are you sure it wasn't the angle? Maybe it was actually the wall in the way?
Seems to be working fine for me, but I have noticed some mods acting strangely after the ninja update.
