Can someone tell me what are the errors in the log? The game is running Ok, albeit it seems always something is missing with the quests.
Too fews and too different compared to some games ago.

With just 1 colony i would say, you got just unlucky rolls and cassandra just send you something different then trade caravans.
But since you got 12 colonies, you have 12 time the chances for them. Each colony got an own event queue. Then you must be very extremly unlucky (did you just found your ultimate love maybe ? :-) ).

And since you got 12 colonies, i don't think all of them are in extrem biomes that prevent caravan's to enter maps or got cold snap/heatwave's everytime a caravan want to enter.

Then maybe the extrem number of colonies are the problem itself, but that isn't something i can't verify.
Maybe upload the safegame and Pheanor could investigate more.

uhh, I am sorry I misspelled it, I wanted say "12 settlers".

Bugs / No trade carovanes after a while: 1.2.2900

Is there an explanations why at some point the game stop sending you trade carovanes?

I have 12 colonies, lot of stuff, 143 days passed with Cassandra at medium level (but I changed during the game from Randy), the carovanes stopped arriving around  after 90 days, so about 53 days without them.

No errors of any kind.

Again, I am using few utility mods (numbers, minimap, rimhud, modmanager, weapons stats and of course hugslib and harmony).

Here's my save and the situation if you guys want have a look, maybe some bug is there:

60 in game days, got 1 honor quest (the initial one of a lady chased by squirrels), 3-4 tiny raids and few other quests.

Cassandra Classic at medium difficult.

Yes, there are some mods running (common sense, light wall, rimhud, lot of hairs and stuff like that), however none of them gives quests or are related to this mechanics.
I know I shouldn' post if mod are active, so feel free to ignore or close my post.

Playing at medium difficult, cassadra classic, after 28 days I haven't got any royal quest, except the Deserter and 2-3 other not royal quests.

Plus, the game didn't ask me to rename the colony, which is quite weird, no ship wrecks crashs at all as well.

Sorry to bother you with this, but how can I attach my save? It's 7mega, and 7zip or winrar allow to create a 1.8 mb compressed file only.

I don't found an entry about that at the readme.txt, maybe you looked at the wrong readme.txt.
use -savedatafolder
So the correct entry would be
"C:\Program Files (x86)\RimWorld\RimWorldWin64.exe" -savedatafolder="C:\Program Files (x86)\RimWorld"

Ok, I thought -savedatafolder was an example name to give to the folder where to store the game's saves, so I gave it appdatasingle as name.

It works now! Thank you

I still do not get it, should the path looks like that?  "C:\Program Files (x86)\RimWorld\RimWorldWin64.exe -appdatasingle=C:\Program Files (x86)\RimWorld"

Should I have a folder called "appdatasingle" inside C:\Program Files (x86)\RimWorld ?

Hi, how do I setup two different copies of the game without messing up with the mods?

I currently have the first copy with the multiplayer mod, playing with a friend.

Then I installed another copy on a different folder for a single player only, but when I launch the game, It seems Im running the first version with the multy mod, I guess because the appdata folder is common for both.
I could save different mod configuration, but this will take time everytime to load and change.

How can I solve it?

Thank you for the idea, I started to collect clothes and corps at the entrance, close it and start a fire.
Hope the temperature will increase enough to kill them because the cave is huge right now and expanding.

Hi guys, I wanted use the mega spiders against my enemies (and the friends too :) but things went little out of control with the wild reproduction and they are now hundreds, any idea how to deal with ?

I have already almost lost the game in a mega invasion inside my base. What if I use the mad animals impulse? Will they start to kill each other?

I am happy as It went however the lost of 3 of my initial pawns (the others lost arms and legs), I LOVE this game because this, the unpredictability of the events and the multiple choices and possibilities.

I wasn't expecting Cassandra sending a mech cluster much stronger than my actual tech level and weapons available in that moment, a little bit unfair maybe, but challenging.

Item stash, quests rewards maybe (orbital) excotic trader.

Basicly bad choise, why you didn't shoot the power cell from distance with some rifle ?
Ok with just 1 grenade you might not instant kill the cell, but you still needed to go close. And i don't think you got an invisible psycast.
The grenade works great againt the centipedes, better then pistol or SMG.

But you made it, and now you need to be prepared for the next one.
Be sure you try to get some smoke (turrets don't shoot targets inside smoke or when they are in smoke).
EMP can be useful too, but more then 1-2 times you can't stun them before they are immun against EMP.

I couldn't destroy the cell directly with a rifle because the mech shield.
I had to get within the range of the shield before I could fire, but that was impossible as I would be killed by a rain fire before I could even aim at the cell.
Instead, I digged a tunnel from that mountain leaving last block intact so that I wouldn't be spotted.
Then I attracted the fire from mechs and turrets with other pawns on the side opposite to the tunnel, while the guy with the grenade digged last block and throw the grenade to the cell (I was within the shield's range at this point).

In the end, I went for an ambush through the mountains in the east, I could not wait a carovan due to their mortar was doing pretty damage to my base, nor I could use mortars, since the production of guns requires fuel which I didn't have either. It would have been a too long process.

In wasn't easy, I managed to destroy the cluster and most of the robots with a grenade to the power cell that blasted all of them but the two centipedes. The guy who carried the ambush die in action soon after.
Other two guys who were acting as distraction, were severely injured and returned to the base quickly bending their wounds.

Once the cluster was destroyed, the two centipedes moved slowly but inexorably toward my base, I found the insanity lance very useful in this case, I used both shots to take down both of them (they don't go berserk, just lay down unconscious for about 1 minute), then I shot them everything I had, eventually 1 managed to recover before I could finish it and killed other 2 guys who were already seriously injured before.
Eventually, last centipede was killed before I could lose the game.

Now, the 3 dead guys were my best in terms of skills and everything, I put them in a permanent refrigerate room.
