QuoteNow I don't know if it's a mod causing the issue or an issue with rimworld itself, but it seems I have found a memory leak in rimworld.
With looking at your modlist, the chances are higher for a mod issue then a vanilla one.
Try to play plain vanilla and look if you can reproduce it.

ok so did a stream tonight, after removing the only mod I had installed till rimworld became unstable and I had another memory leak crashing Rimworld. Really have no clue whats going on or how to fix it because its not throwing any big errors before or after the crash This time rimworld was using up to 29GB of Virtual memory, I am really struggling to identify the issue as its happening in vanilla too when I ran the game for a few hours before my stream

Moderator Note:

The memory leak issue has been resolved in 1.3.3080

yeah, my mod list was stable then I added the vanilla textures expanded. As I streamed for 6 + hours before I added that mod. I have heard there is an issue with rimworld not clearing texture files. So my guess is vanilla textures expanded has increased VRAM usage but with rimworld not clearing texture files properly it caused an issue. I will remove it and see how that goes. Thanks.

Now I don't know if it's a mod causing the issue or an issue with rimworld itself, but it seems I have found a memory leak in rimworld.

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: RimWorldWin64.exe (9508) consumed 26866659328 bytes, NVIDIA RTX Voice.exe (6816) consumed 2450558976 bytes, and obs64.exe (3820) consumed 749473792 bytes.

Now 26Gb of VRAM or RAM is ridiculous usage and I think it would have only gone higher the more I continued to play, I only have 8Gb of VRAM and 16Gb of ddr4. the only reason I had noticed it was because I was streaming at the time and my OBS just started crashing promoting me to look into event viewer as to why.

I can will provide my mod list. but it's very small compared to my 1.2 mod list.

No what i explained is vanilla behavior, you didn't named or mention any mod.
The only mod i know which change this behavior is Outfitter
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2113942538
But it never satisfy me very well.

that's my bad, was late when I read your post, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2468535685 is the mod that I commissioned but I think what your saying is even if an outfit is 100% hitpoints and has better stats pawns will choose whatever suits them even if its worse than something else? or am I misreading that, I thought pawns would choose the better clothing, even if it was from the same material?

From my expierience i would say protection.
When these 46% got better armor rating then the new cloth one, they would prefer it. Even when it is tainted.

It is your work to adjust/create a clothing policy that pawn's don't wear tainted and below 50% stuff and no parka when you are in a hot biome.

so the person who made the mod tried upping the protection stat up to 100% and pawns are still choosing clothing that is worse. I commissioned the mod, just trying to help and fix the issue with the mod maker. So it is a bit of back and forth.

So I'm trying to figure out why pawns are choosing worse items over the bdus clothing I had commissioned. The person who made the mod isn't too sure either as they haven't really delved into clothing. Is there a list of stats that makes pawn choose clothing they will wear, I thought it was based on quality but my pawns chose poor cloth pants with 46% hit points over full normal bdus made from cloth.
