300K would be incredible - But kicktraq almost never pans out.

On the subject of windowed resolutions - Please, please for the love of space Ganesha, include windowed fullscreen. So much easier not having to wait for renders when you tab back and forth. :)

That first one is just a bunch of quick photoshop filters applied to a photograph, no? ???

I've backed both games, but I must admit - I haven't actually tried out Maia yet. Completely forgot to try it with my current backlog of games. :)

As long as it stays on a single Z-Level it shouldn't demand a whole lot, but of course requirements are very dynamic considering how the number of objects will increase as you play.

I'd be more worried about possible multi and supersampling - This makes Prison Architect a lot smoother, but also drains FPS like nothing else.

I personally don't mind the Prison Architect artstyle in the least. It's easy to read and fits the theme and genre.

I wouldn't mind it if it changed into something like FTL pixel art or similar though.

I usually go by Mansen (Part of my lastname) or Illanair (Remnant from my time in WoW way back when). I'm a Computer Science student at the moment.

I spend most of my spare time playing or testing games - It's my hobby. I'm currently a regular beta tester at Paradox Interactive (EU4/Vicky2 specifically) partly because I enjoy bug testing, and partly for the practice for my studies. (Also the Paradox testers are a great little community - Lots of good banter ;D)

I've already contacted everyone I could think of who'd be able and willing to do some exposure on Youtube. First thing I did after backing the project. :)

Ideas / Re: [Suggestion] Animal Husbandry

It's a lot more involved than basic farming, but I'd like to be able to herd the local wildlife for meat and possibly dairy products as well.

Not as a primary food source, but for added variety. Anyone can live on salad, but a nice steak to go with it wouldn't hurt. (In other words give the colonists a mood boon for having a more varied and healthy diet)

while steam is the topic:
what about SteamOS? Unity supports Linux, may SteamOS(which is based on Linux afaik) be an option in future?

SteamOS will just be another Linux distro - So basically if it'll run on Linux, it is SteamOS compatible. It's all about making the game Controller compatible if you want to make it a "proper" SOS title though. :)

Being a fan of "theme/tycoon" games I have a couple of suggestions (And apologies if someone has already mentioned something in this vein)

- Emergency Medical Shuttle -

An escape shuttle makes contact with your colony, pleading for medical assistance. Could be old fashioned combat wounds (Could explain the loss of their ship), or something more exotic (Startopia had shuttle events with patients suffering from critical or contagious diseases - often with great risk/reward outcomes)

- Indigenous Critters -

The classic "cute fluffy critter" event. While digging out (or exploring) the cave systems of your planet, you stumble upon a small, friendly tribe (nest?) of fluffy critters. They cannot communicate verbally, but are friendly and purr.

Could add a morale bonus to the colonists if you let them live among you as pets - The kicker being that they will change/turn into something more fearsome (at chance or guaranteed) when a specific lunar/solar event showers the surface (Kind of like space werewolves...except fluffy and cute most of the month)

Maybe add in a "cure" or vaccine for the critters to turn them completely domesticated if you stick it out and have a medically trained scientist around.
