So I can't have a dictionary that takes a string as a key to find an entry?Should I use a float instead? How would I find a specific value if I didn't know the float key for it? D: Sorry for all the questions haha
Would have loved to start a good old fashioned flame war. Thanks for the link

Yeah, I am trying to save a dictionary using this:Scribe_Collections.LookDictionary<string, AssemblyLineUpgradeDef>(ref this.installedUpgrades, "installedUpgrades");
However, it says 'string' must be a non-abstract type with a public parameterless constructor in order to use it as parameter 'K' in the generic type or method 'Verse.Scribe_Collections.LookDictionary<K,V>(ref System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<K,V>, string, Verse.LookMode, Verse.LookMode)'
Do you know what this means? I looked at what you mention in ilspy, and it hasScribe_Collections.LookDictionary<ResearchProjectDef, float>(ref this.progress, "progress", LookMode.DefReference, LookMode.Value);
as the method. Am I doing something stupidly wrong? D:
Oh and you should set your LookModes properly. The game is kinda bitchy about those.

Lesson learned today: people tend to project a meaning into stuff where there isnt a deeper meaning - never over interpret when there is nothing to interpret.
You mean, like that ISIS/Isis 'controversy' just a few days ago?lol, that was funny.

Yeah, people tend to read too far in to things. I blame the Tumblr-brand trend of political correctness.

This is why this forum needs [spoiler] tags.
Scribe_Collections.LookDictionary<KeyCode, Squad>(ref this.SquadKeys, "Squads",LookMode.Undefined,LookMode.Deep);

I know something else that has to be stuffed

You know you can just take a screenshot, right? You don't need to physically take a photo of your monitor.
