Lol you cant rationalize exploiting the AI path-finding and attacking. Good try, though.

Just a heads up, the German National Socialist Party (Nazis) didn't come around until after WW1, nor did the Nazi prison camps.

Yo chief, this is a game not real life.

It's not a strategy or "awesome" tactic in RimWorld, it's exploiting the AI's weakness by surrounding your single entrance into your cave "colony" with turrets. Exploitation at it's best. If enemies were to try to make a new entrance, or if there was more than one entrance, the entire exploit wouldn't work.

You my friend are rare in my experience. MREs are great when there is no other food option but if there is any other choice myself and those I worked with wouldn't even crack open a case.

But MRE's are full of so many good things; more often than not you'll get a nice candy bar or bag of Skittles/M&M's, one of the delicious "cakes" like the poppy seed one or banana bread one, but if you're really lucky you'll get one of the milkshakes! Gahhhh makes me want an MRE now lol. The Basic Training I went to for the US Army rarely made us eat MRE's and it was annoying.

It's not strategy or some fancy tactic, it's exploiting the AI's weakness lol. They'll only try to enter from the single entrance to your compound, better surround it with turrets so you don't actually have to fight anything...

And on another note, it's not a colony if you're just building a big box. Then it's just a big box with rooms. It's equally as mundane and cheap as mountain bases.

An outside colony is the best; living inside a mountain in the cheap way out and, frankly, I don't see how it's even fun. Live in a mountain and make a kill box = you win. How's that fun?

The funnest challenge I've had on this game is building a colony without walls, more akin to a "city" set up of buildings. You haven't truly experienced fun when you're fighting between your houses, raiders coming from you mess hall. Your other colonists are trapped inside the armory from enemy fire...

Truly the best way to play. No cheap strategies.

If "Packaged Survival Meals" are anything like the modern day military MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat), then they are definitely very satisfying.

I would personally prefer a good ole' breakfast MRE or any of the chicken ones over even a prepared meal lol.

Equipment racks are far from useless; make an armory and store weapons in them that you don't want to sell. Bamn! Better than leaving them on the ground. Enjoy some immersion.

I've done different kinds of texture art for games all the way from Skyrim and Mount and Blade to Starbound and Running With Rifles. Unfortunately, I've never built a resume or portfolio so I don't have much to show for except for the other thread I posted her showing off some weapon sprite work.

I'd like to be on a mod team, but anything works, really :) I just want to start building an actual portfolio, and everything helps.

I don't have the sense of direction to really put forth a mod of my own, so I'd like to offer my art services to anyone who'd take them.

I enjoy doing art for this game, so I'd be more than happy to help with anything. I don't have any real samples to show right now (cept' for some firearm sprites if you'd like to see them), but hit me up and we can talk about what you'd like me to do.

Child birth isn't really logical for this game; odds are you aren't going to have a colony for 16 years.

I understand the bright color thing being out of place, I'll look into that.
