As for wall types, he says he doesn't want all the wall types to always be listed because it spoils the game as new types will be implemented and he would like people to discover them. Plus, there's not much difference (IMO)  between learning you are out of wood when you go to build it than the missing materials message that pops up immediately after. And as soon as one tree is cut, you can plan the whole thing out as normal.

You can get advanced prosthetic parts from other sources.

not a fix for your problem, but just an idea. I turn off grow zones for things like trees and then set them to be chopped. That leaves the growers to focus on food and the plant cutters to work on trees, which usually includes the growers when they are done.

He did exactly what he was supposed to do. The next step would be for one of the doctors to grab some medicine, put it by the bed, grab the item you set to install (make sure its not just amuptate) and do the surgery. If that isn't happening, make sure doctoring is a priority and (maybe) that the bed doesnt have the long side against a wall. Not sure what else can do it.

just played my first out-in-the-open turret/mortar-free base now that A7 is out and did pretty well. The final siege following the crashed ship did me in, but thats probably because i was hording metal and plasteel to build my ship.

Also, crazy awesome update.  If things keep going like this then Rimworld will get pretty close to most hours spent in any video game to date(and if you knew how much of a no life I am that would impress you and also possibly scare you). 

There is so much potential here for where things could go!  Really wish I had learned programming growing up, so many ideas that will never be actualized :(

cybernetics is already in the game. You can by basic prosthetic limbs and cybernetic limbs from traders.

downloading A7 will be a completely different file than A6. As long as you didn't delete it, you A6 folder should still be in your computer. Just open the game form that instead of the new A7 download.
