(moved comment from another topic) I was thinking of this as well when I was building my colonist bedrooms. Something like vents/fans in the walls that you can place to send the heat to adjoining rooms with a heating transfer penalty or electric power penalty to offset its advantage but it would still be impassable by people and large animals. Keep it that small animals like boomrats and squirrels can walk through it for that realistic feel.

Ideas / UI Text Colour Change

Id like to have the option to change the UI info on the right above the overview button to different colours as well as the stockpile numbers on the left. I have a really hard time seeing them in the winter with the snow. Id like to change it to a dark red or blue so it could really pop out from the landscape.

Anyone else want this?

Yeah I noticed this as well. When my colonists brought it from the freezer they ate it but it wasn't showing as frozen once it got into a room where it was warm. Maybe have it so it takes a few seconds to re-heat it to room temperature like in a microwave or oven/cook table lol. Otherwise it would take something like 30 seconds to thaw then you could eat it. Also the cooling units seem to have issues with keeping small areas at a stable cool temperatures I've noticed. I was wondering if that's just my game or its its the same for others as well. I have a 1x2 freezer made with with metal walls and it fluctuates +/- 5c all the time even when the door isn't open.

You can already do that when you specify an inside/outside area prisoner then put up a door.

I think that would unbalance the game at the beginning though allowing people to use stone instead of anything else to build the walls.

I want this. Make it so your colonists can build forts and stuff to have snowball fights to increase their morale as well! It would be a good way to provide weak, quick protection against early on game tribe weapons like bow & arrow and spears with snow/ice blocks. Obviously it wouldn't be effective against gunfire.

I would like the option to go back to a traditional layout for the selection of wall and door types. Its much faster for me to select what I want with a full layout. On another matter, thank you so much for making prosthetics :D

I just had 450 food. 2 packs of visitors show up, 48 food..... WTF. I'm going to war with these assholes.

I downloaded this and Alpha 3 fresh and this mod makes the Sun Lamps disappear from the game completely. Just thought that should be brought up.
