MAPS!

Description:
I love Rimworld Zombie Apocalypse as much as any other guy who loves Rimworld Zombie Apocaylpse. I really found it interesting, but I also found it had more of a linear storyline - something that I'm trying to defeat. Anyways, I thought it'd be cool to make some Rimworld maps so that people can have something more interesting to do while playing the game! Just a quick heads-up: A few (actually, the majority) of these maps will both be difficult, and using mods. For a list of the mods being used, scroll down.

Maps:
None, yet. One is under construction.
Map Features & Goals:

  • Rid the town of the zombie threat
  • Restore the power to the city
  • Restore the farm back to working condition (begin farming again)
  • Clear all of the zombies from the offices
  • Optional goal!: Have no colonists die

    • A small city map
    • 5 houses full of loot
    • An office complex, risky but some weapons, and loot
    • A power station, power needs to be restored though
    • Two stores - one with a group of NPC's inside, the other with some interesting items.

I'm engineering up some fun maps with some ideas for goals, and other things so that it's not just "kill the zombies and do nothing else". The maps will be engaging, goals like restore power to the community, kill all zombies on map, clear out the apartment, etc. instead of just one simple goal. But, yeah. I'm making some maps for your mod before I go to work on Project EONS this weekend.

SOME UPDATE THING, I DON'T REALLY KNOW!
- Work will begin continuing on Project EONS most likely this weekend. (Mar. 6th-8th, 2015) The current team only composes of two most likely two programmers, but as of now, only one, and two artists - a mod of this size will take some time to be put together but it will be done in time!

Then where exactly do mod requests go? Or are you just arbitrarily being an armchair moderator?

1. They go in the general "Mods" section, not the section for WIP and Unfinished mods.
2. You don't need to retaliate with so much anger. I was just pointing it out.

Many thanks to two new gentlemen who have helped out,

Sondre and hesoyam.

Sondre has agreed to join the team and I'm still awaiting for a reply from hesoyam, who I've invited to join us as our texture artist.

With this quick little update, I'll confirm that development is back up.

Hey Shinzy, if it wouldn't prove to be too much heck for you, my mod, Rim Wars, needs a texture for Phase-I battle armor (If you're unsure of what it is, just google it.) If you're willing to help, please do. I can take care of Commando armours (as I'd just be recolouring your image in certain areas) and I'd give all credit accordingly.

I'll need to tell you that this mod's development is...
[big][big][big][big]PAUSED[/big][/big][/big][/big] for the time being, because we cannot texture this "shizzle", if you catch my drift.

Really, this is just pausing development until we do one of the following:

A) Find someone who can create textures
B) Learn to live with the constant complaining of makeshift textures
C) Hate our own textures and smash our computers.

It's really only a matter of removing stuff, but it's also a matter of removing all of the debuffs and buffs caused by all of these things, rewriting a lot of recepies, and you'd be left with hardly anything to play the game with except for swords, bows and arrows, and that's about it, aside from walls, chairs, and tables. and if you removed all of that stuff, it'd take a large chunk away from the game.
