The haepatic artery has about 25% of the liver blood supply, the portal sistem (veins) bring the liver the remaining 75%.
You will die much faster than you tought.

Severing the femoral artery will render you inconscious by bleeding in about 30 seconds. Death prompty follows.
The liver actually has 2 major blood vessels: the portal vein and the haepatic artery.
The sudden "loss" of the liver will cause massive bleeding, almost justifying the "instadeath" of colonists.

Use stone beds for your prison.
Prisoner sleep longer, less risk of them going berserk.

I just shoot all downed pawns in the head on the battlefield, myself. Anyway, in human societies of all types and throughout a good chunk of history until very recently, it was pretty common to capture the bad guys, have a show trial, and Hang 'Em High. That is if summary executions didn't happen, instead.
We now officilly need a gallows building.
And some mood reworking.

Now we only need to ferment more things, like agave, berries, corn, rice...

As things are now, you'd better leave them bleed to death on the ground, if you aren't recruiting. Or you can finish them off, if you like.

For #2 you may like to search for animals like this:

Drag the selection box over large areas of land to find animals, if necessary.

Double click the animal and all of the animals of that type on your screen will be selected.
This won't work for selecting all roosters, you'll select the hens and the chicks also.

General Discussion / Re: Are wargs worth it?

I have built a refrigerator specifically to store corpses (I called the area "corpse freezer") for my animals to eat. I don't have warg, since they wonìt be trained by anyone, but my huskies, labradors and boars are quite happy with it.

I remember back in alpha 7 seeing the malnutrition status and thinking: "I gave to plant some potatoes, berries only are making my people ill!". If only...

One of the best tactic is find them when they are sleeping, close them into a wodden structure.
They don't eat the wodden wall and die by starvation. Surrounded by food.

There is a way to control them.
You have to schedule an operation.
The first thing it happens is them getting anesthesia; at this point, stop the operation.
Voilà, pawn incapacitated, risk free.
