The fact that all the accounts were removed or privatized indicates a conscious decision. If it was a case of no internet or an emergency, all accounts would simply remain inactive.
Whatever the case, I hope he's ok and returns safe and sound.

Yeah, same on this side. Anyone know what happened?
Starting to get a mite concerned :/

Off-Topic / Re: Studying

Oh I'm studying Spacial Design (interior design) along with a little bit of photography as a hobby.

I really enjoy photography but I hate being tied down to a specific style, which is why I'm doing so badly in this class XD

Alitaria
Al-ee-tar-ee-ah

Accidental misspelling of the Pokemon Altaria when signing up for an online game, I didn't notice for a full year of wondering why this awesome Pokemon name wasn't taken.....

Now I use it as my go to online name because it is rarely taken and has a nice ring to it :3

I dont think its possible to have a Manhunter Pack (event) be Thrumbos but it is possible for  the psychotic animal event to trigger on a thrumbo

I believe it is possible, as the Psychotic Animal event chooses a random animal on the map.
I think with the old code it was possible for mechaniods to be chosen XD

I think there was a thread about Thrumbos going mad posted a little while ago

If you're asking if you can breed different types of species that fall under a larger broader specie (e.g. breeding a husky with a labrador), I am pretty certain the answer is no :(
Nah i mean within the same breed. Husky to Husky

I have a question.
Do animals not breed within their own family tree? I seem to have slaughtered my original Breeding pair of Huskies and now breeding has come to a complete stop, despite having several males and females in a relatively enclosed space :/

Is it just me or are the groups that allies send after you call for help just pathetic?
I was halfway through fighting off some tribals when a mechaniod party landed nearby so I called an allied Outlander town for help.
They sent 3 people....with shivs...
Like...It would have been more help if they didn't come at all because they died too damn quickly.
Even after spamming the send help button and burning through around 10k Silver, the best weapon any of the little groups that came was a little PDW :/

Bugs / Binging Lasting about 3 seconds
September 28, 2015, 07:32:04 PM
So quite a number of times now 2 of my colonists, (it only seems to happen with these 2) have gone on alcohol binges lasting about 3-5 seconds each. It isn't even enough time for them to grab a beer. They get halfway and decide against it but they still get the Catharsis mood buff

I am confuse but not exactly complaining, free +15 mood :/

I always have at least one grower, one constructor/miner and one hunter. The rest of the skills are just a nice bonus for my starters. I also try to roll at least one person with the psychopath trait to be my cook, that way they dont get a mood debuff for cutting people up. I never get people with Abrasive, Too Smart or Brawler traits and I try to avoid getting colonists that are too old.
My priority is finding a spot to set up a quick building with one large (10x10 usually) field of rice, a smaller (5x5 or 6x6) of Xerigum and sometimes a small crop of cotton.
I always start with a communal bedroom, which doubles as an EVERYTHING ELSE room. 2-3 solar generators and 2 batteries are enough to power a stove and freezer. Then I move to pod like rooms of 2x3 with a Royal Bed. They dont need huge bedrooms because you dont get the cramped environment while asleep.
Its bad practice but research is pretty much always a side thought. I usually dont even have a research bench until a good 4-6 months in :/
Defensive perimeters are second priority behind food

Sometimes I do, but usually I don't care to micromanage THAT much.  But for items like plasteel and IA, which I will only ever use once I do tend to create a stockpile, move the goods there, delete the stockpile and set the goods forbidden until I need them.  Usually I don't have much trouble with raids, but the mech raids are usually the raids I am more meticulous about the way I handle my colonists...that and manhunter packs of freaking squirrels...
...those squirrels have a nasty bite!...especially when 20 of em descend upon my colonists like a zerg rush. hahaha

Just 20? You should have seen the time Cassie sent me 80 crazed Muffalos. That was freaking scary :/
On the plus side. I still have meat like, 6 months later :3

General Discussion / Re: Sterile Tiles
September 28, 2015, 05:14:46 AM
I do believe that Sterile Tiles are more resistant to dirt and mess so are much easier to keep clean. And yes, the messiness of the room does increase the chance of infection plus I think a large amount of dirt slows down the recovery time (but don't quote me on that as I'm not 100% sure)
