One of the things that can be added would be mixed breeds between Huskies and Labradors, or Wolf-Dog Hybrids, or maybe even a Warg-dog?
More trainable then a Warg but not quite as powerful?
Is a Warg even a Canine?

Would be nice if Canines weren't as retarded in combat situations too, like actually wandering up to raiders in the middle of a firefight. Would be nice if they could individually be movable like any pawn until they are 'released'

Would be nice if we could get a wolf hybrid from mixing a dog and wolf.
Or maybe even a wolf warg hybrid.
It would deal more damage than a dog and be easier to train than an actual wolf.

Bugs / Colonist do not feed pet husky

Even on priority '1' pawns do not feed our husky, and thats with two pawns at '1' both idle, nothing else for them to do.

I am playing a modded game and just realized that the option to build turrents is gone, I haven't played this game in a while and just wanted to try it with a few mods. So did something change in Alpha 12 without me knowing?

The one thing that makes this game seem like a Alpha is-- in my opinion at least -- the aiming system.


The only thing that makes me go "Yeah, I'm playing an Alpha game alright." is when I'm shooting at something. For instance, I was hunting a turtle with a pump shotgun... at four squares away... that was already incapacitated... and I missed 17 times (I counted) to the point where I was actually blowing off the grass around the turtle, also the hunter has a shooting skill of 15+.

While if I charge a raider with a knife, and said raider has an arm blown off, and 4 fingers missing from his remaining hand, then he will be able to pull off 2 shots on my charging melee colonist, who charged from around a corner, so its a short distance, even though the raider only has 1 point in the shooting skill.

It makes me wonder if the shooting skill even matters?
Does it?

Is it just a completely random number?
Because I think I'm seeing a massive difference in RD based on age.

A 20yr old is impossible to recruit, while a 25 yr old is possible, but just barely

If that is the case, then I have no words for how completely stupid that system is.

Ideas / Request certain traders on Comms console

Its really annoying for me when I'm sitting on 20+k silver and DESPERATELY need some more colonist but there is nothing I can really do to get more.

I would really like to send out request on the Comms Console for certain traders, like for example slavers. Or combat supplies, stuff like that. (But I'm also pretty picky on who I let in)

Maybe send out the message *Hey Fresh meat, selling slaves, get em while they're hot!*(because everyone I try to save ends up at 99% recruitment difficulty anyway)

I wouldn't even mind if I have to wait.

Maybe it could just double the chances of one showing up.

All I want is a small degree of control on who shows up.

Make biotic eyes more available in trade ships because for some reason in this game half the chars are old enough to predate sin and everyone has cataracts

Also, why is everyone so OLD!
I mean the average age in this game is like 50
