Feature request:

When I select 1 or multiple ppls at the status bars at the top side of the screen and then pressing ctrl+f1 f2 etc, then it should save the targeted members, and later I wanna recall that selection via pressing simply f1 f2 etc. This would be highly usefull for combat, to quickly gather only the combatants when raiders coming for example. Also it would make moving ppl behind cover easier. (instead of manually targeting a unit via mouse, we could just press f1 for example)

There is this "right click to select build materials" option..Why isnt this the default? it makes sense, and it's just a lot better then the vanilla imo. (It's notthe end of the world to just set it up, I was just wondering the reason behind it

I feel like this mod is so essential in it's current version too, it should be integrated to the base game.(ofc if it's not against ur will EdB)

There is this thing, called Nexus on the internet I hear I think instead of having a dedicated forum for each and every mod here, the dev should just simply point ppl towards nexus.

In case u dont know what im talking about. Nexus is the prime place for a lot of games' mods, including Skyrim, which game has the biggest mod community as far as I know. The site provides freely to use a mod manager called NMM, which does feature version checks, updates, conflicts, categories etc.

U can freely upload and manage any mods there w/o problems. The only thing which can be bothersome is that u have a limited download speed, unless u pay the monthly fee for the site. U can download with 1mb/sec w/o it tho, so its not totally useless.

U can click on the files at the top side of the screen, which gives u a list based on the voted mods in order.

My game runs on SSD and I have an Ocd i7, so thankfully I have only 1-2 secs autosave times, but omg 5 secs pauses for some ppl? Then we definately need the ability to turn this off.

I prefer to play "ironman" style, so I'm not saving ever manually in a game like this(unless I have to stop playing...)

While I can see how highly usefull this autosave is for an alpha build, which can crash(altho I hadn't crash so far), or just for the rare occasions when power goes away in ur house for example.

However it does interrupt the gameplay every so often. I dont mind background saving methods, which is just happening w/o u realizing it ingame at all or just gives a notification on the side of the screen. In this game tho, it gives us an autosave text at the middle of the screen, and also locks the game entirely for that 1-2 secs.

Yes we can say that it is only 1-2 secs.. but from my perspective, that is 1-2 secs wasted from gametime which is precious for some. Also it is kinda annoying when there is a big fight, and im microing my guys just to have a screenlock/message pop for 2 secs on my middle of the creen.

Dunno how ppl think about this, but I would like to have an option to turn this off in the settings menu, and not just "forcing" the user to "deal with it". Or as I mentioned optimalize it if its possible, so the player wont even notice it during a fight. (side pop message, instead of middlescreen and no lockout from the game(run it in a seperate thread, instead of the main))

@TheXIIILighting uhm, It does pause my game for sure. I'm using the alpha 7 build with More Hair, EDBInterface and EDBPrepareCarefully mods.

As the title says, can i disable the autosave function somehow? If yes, where/how?

As the title says, I would like to ask u guys to recommend mods to me which are such additions which does not change the balance.

So far I have these:
EDB Interface
EDB Prepare Carefully
More Hair

While u could argue about the preparecarefully addon, I'm only using it to not have to spamm the random button that much. Meaning no 4th guy, no starting weapons or armor, no extra resources.

I dont want a new item in the mod which isnt craftable and has extra benefits compared to the vanilla game.

I just bought the game recently, so I'm not too familiar with the balance atm, but i think ur mode should promote bad traits. Let's say we choose "slowpoke" which reduces our movement speed. The addon gives 30 stat point penalty for that over the "nothing" option. We should actually get bonus stat points for picking something like that imo.
