These are awesome! would you be interested in making graphics for Cybernetic Storm? As I am ok but they could be better :D

Cybernetic Storm has alot of graphics, and could take awhile. Right now I'm in the midst of re-skinning all the character artwork (which is another tall order). Maybe when I'm done with that.

Outdated / Re: Alpha 9 Mod List

Please add my mod to the list...
Steel Rock Slag Mod - Adds new textures for all of the steel, rock and slag in the game (and adds more variety). Also have some new user interface icons (optional).

I just created a mod that re-textures the slag and stone chunks ... and noticed that it conflicts with your mod. It's not a major conflict, since it doesn't crash the game, but it is something worth noting (in case anyone asks).

Steel Rock Slag Mod

I noticed that your mod edits the Various_Stones.xml ... as does my re-texture - hence the conflict. If your mod is loaded first, then everything is fine. If your mod is loaded after the Steel Rock Slag mod, then the new retextures don't show.

You might want to make a note of it in your instructions (in case people are trying to run both). Thanks!

Those graphics look great!

If you want to add the Steel Rock Slag mod to the Alpha 9 version of your Epyk Pack, feel free.

Good work. Now figure out graphic stackcount lol :p

What's the stackcount? Remember, you are talking to a designer - we don't speak code.   :)

They look really nice. Maybe not for everyone as they aren't very rimworldy. But great job non the less!

With all the graphic changes I've done... my "Rimworld" probably looks a bit different than everyone elses.  :)

Feel free to take a look at all the other graphics I've created for the game...

Priority Hauler Interface Buttons

If anyone has Priority Hauler installed, here are the texture replacements for those icons...

Place in /Mods/PriorityHaul/Textures/ [where "PriorityHaul" is the name of the mod folder]

- Place in the folder above.
- Place in the folder above.
- Rename Haul.png and place in the folder above.

Mine Vein Interface Buttons

And if you have the Mine Vein mod installed, here is the interface replacement icon... Place in Mods/VeinMiner/Textures/ [where "VeinMiner" is the name of the mod folder]

- Place in the folder above.

Thanks Shinzy.
I created a post that has a mod I created, along with the UI textures...

Some problems though...

Some Names Not Working
I checked the "resources" folder that was uploaded earlier for some of the file names, and some of the filenames aren't correct (or the images need to go somewhere else).  Can someone help with find out the correct name (or path) for these images...

- I've tried naming this Hide, and HideZone ... neither works.
- I've tried naming this Rename, and RenameZone ... neither worked.
- I've tried naming this Orders, and OrdersStart ... neither worked.

Dumping Stockpile same as Stockpile Zone

So, I created an image for the stockpile zone, and a separate image for the dumping zone. Unfortunately, it looks like the game uses the same graphic for each. Is there a way to remedy this? I'd like to avoid editing Def files, but that seems like the only way...

This post contains a MOD (SteelRockSlag) and some textures for changing the user interface buttons.

Steel Rock Slag
VERSION v1.1 (Feb 24, 2015)

Description:
This mod changes the texture of the Steel, Rock Chunks, and Slag Chunks in the game, and adds more variety.  There were 3 original steel textures, and they were the same color of the stone and slag in the game, making metal hard to find when glancing at the map. So I wanted to change that up a but. I also wanted to change the slag metal, and add some "depth" to the rock chunks (and add more variety again).

Thanks to skullywag and wastelander for help with the mod issues that I had.

Download
>>> Download the Steel Rock Slag Mod <<<

How to Install:
1.  Download the zip file, and decompress the file (retaining the folder structure).
2. Place the folder SteelRockSlag into your Mod folder.
3. Start RimWorld and then activate the mod.*

* If you activate the mod, and then load a game, the textures may not register. Try restarting after you initially activate the mod.

How to Uninstall:
1. Open Rimworld.
2. Deactivate the Mod
3. (Optional) Delete the SteelRockSlag folder, which should be inside your Mods folder

Conflicting Mod:
Combat Realism conflicts with the Rock and Slag textures (but not with the steel texture). Both edit the same file... so I created a "Combat Realism" version of this mod.
[do not download or activate the original Steel Rock Slag above - follow the instructions below]
1. >>> Download Combat Realism <<< and activate
2. >>> Download Steel Rock Slag CR <<< and activate
3. If you don't already have it, download  EdB Mod Order to organize your mods.  Activate EdB Mod Order then leave the Mod page.
4. Return to the mod page, and now make sure that Steel Rock Slag-CR is loaded AFTER the combat realism mod.
5. Leave the mod page
6. Exit the game.
7. Restart the game.

Industrialisation v0.97 conflicts with this mod. As long as you load THIS mod last (after Industrialisation), then the textures will show up fine.

I got it!!!!!!!

The textures are showing up fine now.

I had some bug errors that were showing up because of some MeleeWeapon_Agility value that was assigned to Steel. I compared the CORE def files with my MOD def files and noticed they were different.  MeleeWeapon_Agility was part of the Steel def in Alpha 9b core, but not in the Steel def for Alpha 9d core.  So, I copied the new Steel defs, fixed the path, and then opened my game and it ran fine. Lesson to be learned: if there's an update, get the NEW files. Awesome.

Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!

I am all for this (especially considering I'm a designer, with little coding ability)

Core/Textures/UI/

then bunch of folders for each thing
UI/Buttons ...

Using the resources folder that was posted, I got all the image names. However, I'm still not sure where to place the images in order to get the images to show up in the game.

I tried placing all the images in the folder ....
Core/Textures/UI
... and that didn't work. So I tried putting all the images in ...
Core/Textures/UI/Buttons
... and that didn't work. So I tried to search the Def files and looked for UI paths in there. I found the following path and tried to place all the images into the following folder ...
Core/Textures/UI/Overlays/Designations/
... and that didn't work.

Anyone know where I have to place these?

So, I took another shot at a mod for replacing steel-slag-chunk...

Since Tynan posted the hotfix, I went back into the Def files and removed all the "BugFix." ... and made sure the paths pointed to the image names (like it was in Alpha 8).

For Slag...
<graphicPath>Things/Item/Chunk/Slag/ChunkSlagSteel</graphicPath>
<graphicClass>Graphic_Random</graphicClass>
... and an example of where the images are located is below ...
Mods/SteelRockSlag/Textures/Things/Item/Chunk/Slag/ChunkSlagSteelA.png

For Stone
<graphicPath>Things/Item/Chunk/Stone/ChunkStone</graphicPath>
<graphicClass>Graphic_Random</graphicClass>
... and an example of where the images are located is below ...
Mods/SteelRockSlag/Textures/Things/Item/Chunk/ChunkStoneA.png

For Steel...
<graphicPath>Things/Item/Resource/Metal/Steel</graphicPath>
<graphicClass>Graphic_Random</graphicClass>
... and an example of where the images are located is below ...
Mods/SteelRockSlag/Textures/Things/Item/Resource/Metal/SteelA.png

Here are all the files if you want to test out the mod...

RETEXTURING OF
User Interface

Here are some new interface icons that I put together.

Download the files here: Download the UI Textures

Unzip the file above, and retain the file structure (you should have a folder called "UI").  Place this folder into your MODS/CORE/TEXTURES/ folder. So, for example, you should have a file Mods/Core/Textures/UI/Designators/Haul.png.

Zones have the "blueprint background" ...
