It would definitely save a bit of time instead of having to arrange your colonists exactly as you want them every time.

Ah, but this was posted March 1st, and yours was March 27th. Either way, it's already fixed and will be out in the next public alpha release.

If I'm correct that screen means that your save was corrupted. I think one of the save editor people over in the mods section mentioned that happened when he messed something up in the save.
