Ideas / Research Queue

The biggest thing that I'm missing at this point is a way to queue research. Right now I always forget to pick a new research (that's just me being dumb, though) or I keep having to remember what I was going to research next. I'd love to see something like this implemented.

Stories / Not lucky with the naming

So I started a new colony as I normally would and my three colonists Emmie, Saski and Shift crashlanded in a jungle. With them was a fierce-looking warg with the name Starvation. This name fitted her well, since she was butchered and eaten to prevent the colonists from starving.

The fridge started filling up again, thanks to the mass-murder of capybara's. However, two of them survived, a 2 year old male and a 4 year old female. I decided to let DC, who had joined my colony just a day before, tame them. They showered the colonists with nuzzles and before long, they got their very own names. The male was named Equity, which was totally fine. The female got a completely different name, Asylum. I guess she was still a bit scarred from the brutal murder of her entire family before her eyes, but oh well.

The capybara's bred and sometimes provided the colony with some fresh meat. What we didn't have yet were some fancy clothes. I decided to tame some alpaca's for their wool. The first one to be named got the name Suicidal. This proved to be a very fitting name, because it would die in the very next raid when it walked right into the battle that was going on.

That raid was quite challenging and some of my colonists were badly injured. This caused me to upgrade my defences and, mostly for fun, tame a cougar. It was not after all her training was done that she got a name. Her name would be Chaos. She proved to be worthy of her name when the battle that followed went a bit sideways. A raid happened and Chaos got sent out to kick some ass. She had downed 1 raider and seriously injured another when her master, with whom she had bonded, died and Chaos went beserk. Her final score: 3 kills, 2 down.

Of course, these aren't the only named animals I have, but I thought this was another excellent example of how Rimworld can cause some great scenario's.

Just got a new one:
A chinchilla was named She-Devil. It hasn't attacked anyone yet, but I'm curious to see what might happen here

Looks like a mod with great potential, I always liked the idea of having a farm with animals and I'm glad there is someone working on this . I think that it would be nice to have a resource heavy kind of animal food. If you decide to give them the food as an extra on top of just grass the animals will produce more than without the special food.

Bugs / Bug: Starving very ironicly

Hi,
I have a really annoying problem. Sometimes when one of my colonists picks up food, he\she will not eat it but stand with it. After a while, he\she will starve. If i kill the colonist with developer mode, my game will lag terribly and my game is ruined.
I hope this if fixed soon :)
