Really unlucky RNG maybe? Do you have any mods active?

As far as I understand it, increasing the number of males will increase the number of attempts at pregnancy. There's another thread in this section about the birds and the bees that does a better job explaining it.

As far as I can tell, roofs are only created when you enclose an area, that is when a constructor finishes constructing either a wall or a door that would create a room.

Let's say a raider destroys your front door and your outermost room now becomes an outdoors area. If we assume this area has a patch of unroofed, building a wall on that patch will not create a roof, because there's no longer a room after the front door was destroyed (and not rebuilt).

There's still some weird behavior when it comes to roofing, but I'm sure they'll get around to it at some point.

I use it in conjunction with haplo's new map gen. Because the rooms become unroofed as soon as you open the door and enter. Adding a no roof zone over the entire structure then removing it roofs them again. I've not experienced the no roof phenomenon with vanilla assets but I assumed it to be a similar occurrence.

Indeed they do! That's how I get away with a barracks for the entire game now!

Yup, cook stove and butcher table goes right in the freezer ( Two each because I like redundancy in essential systems ). As does the BioExtractor, but that's from a mod :P I also use the Bulk Meals mod so my cooks aren't stuck in the freezer all day. They're just in there for big bursts once the rice fields get harvested, then back to cleaning duties they go!

The only thing I don't really have is ad blocker, I don't really know why I never got it. I have an AV program, MalwareBytes, and SpyBot among other things. I removed junkware when I got this thing but maybe having an actual tool to do it would be good.

I think flash floods were a thing ages ago in a mod... maybe Tech Tree Minami? I can't remember :(

Edit: All I can find in my old RimWorld files is a TTM Patch for Custom Events which I believe is what I'm thinking of. That's back to version 584 though which I believe was an A7 release.

If you were to have bamboo flooring in this mod, what do you imagine it to look like? I wanted to ask if you could add it, but it doesn't really fit with the theme of the mod ( or maybe it does and I'm a Derp ) I was going to try and make my own but wanted to stay true to the imagination of the mod author since I love this mod :P

Ps: I will even share it if it doesn't suck!

Is it possible to get something like barn board floors added? Sort of like an equivalent to the vanilla concrete floors. Cheap and fast to build, but have neg beauty? Using steel to make the concrete floors as it is more or less a finite resource ( minus trading ) wood is awesomely renewable :)

actually no gent is NOT working on the UOM, he is working on his own gentle pak, which will take time.


I realized the way I wrote that comes across as GENT releasing another UOM, my bad  :( I was just typing out a fast answer after being frustrated by how many people are asking about UOM w/o reading the threads aaalllll about where it went and why... GENT is indeed working on his own pack that should be similar in some ways to UOM but faaaar upgraded

Something like in the latest Civ game (Named something like byond the horizon or simular.)

Edit: The reason I'm not using SC is because basically every modpack since its release has done dat, I want something new and fresh... and sadly SC2 hasn't came out.

I know this is a bit old, but still felt I should point out that there's always tofu in the vegetable garden mod. If someone already pointed that out then I'm sorry for being a bit slow on the uptake  :-[  Also if you don't want to download all of vegetable garden just for tofu, you might be able to convince dismar to make a "Tofu Only" side packet, sort of like his Bio Generator. He's pretty open to suggestions as long as you're polite about it :P There's the Quorn mod to if you want hot pink bubble gum mushrooms as a meat replacement ( Not meant as disrespectful, they seriously look like hot pink bubble gum! ) Just saying we now have a few vegetabletarian mod options including ZOMBIE2's.

Edit: Sorry for being off topic, but it's not like I'm arguing about crap.

I've literally had a colony with three toxos' in it that got raided by 50+ tribals with two toxos' in the raiding party.... "were you guys quintuplets or something and now by some sick twist of fate are pitted against each other in a life or death battle?..."
