Sadists - enjoys punching others
Tinkerer - likes to craft/make things. Unhappy with unchallenging work.
Sleepwalker - colonist does random things while sleeping
Hunter - enjoys a good hunt
Neat Freak - the more dirt/filth around him, the more it upsets him
Garbage child - used to garbage and filth. Increased desease resistance, social penalty
Bookworm - likes to read. A day without a book is a day wasted.

Thanks. Methinks I'll have to re-do the front helmet (made it 64x64, not 128x128 by mistake), but I should have a complete set(s) finished soon.
Maybe even several helmet variants.

I was thinking of making a 40K mod.
Power armor, bolters and bio-mods that give insane bonuses.
You start with "only" 1 astartes.
Cut trees with bare hands, run back and forth on the map like speedy gonzales and murder every animal in sight.

A pseudo Z-level, yes. Seems the simplest to implement that way.
Nothing can be built beneath the wall.

The lack of castle-building is worrying.

The walls as they are now work as a regular house wall.
But that prevents us from building proper fortifications.

A mannable wall would be a tall wall that has parapets on both (or just 1) sides. Creatures can walk along the wall, but they need a ladder/stairs to access it.
Colonists on the wall get a visual range bonus and accuracy bonus, plus a defense bonus.
In case the ladders/stairs are destroyed, one can jump down but suffers fall damage.

the time scale is the biggest issue.

Now, there are ways to go around it. Who is to say 1 day on planet X equals 1 earth day.
You can just as easily make 1 day = 10 earth days, meaning 10x more time passes. Or even more.

You can even use the seasons principle, like DF does, instead of days.
