I used to love using this mod in the earlier versions of Rimworld, made things much more interesting.

I certainly hope this can be updated for Alpha 11 before the game hits Alpha 12 and Evul has to start all over.

Keep up the good work.

Love the mod, but it seems like almost everyone is using Dropbox for their upload site these days. Slightly annoying since it appears to be limited to account-holder only Downloads.

Would it be possible to upload this to another site as well for those of us that don't have a Dropbox account?
Figure I'd ask.

Keep up the good work.

Drop box will let you download if you're not a member. I don't have an account and can download fine. Just close the little log in window that pops up and click the download button. It works even though it's grayed out.

How unusual.  I attempted that last night and did not get said log in window. Had tried stabbing the button about twenty times and got no result.

Yet tonight I tried it and got the window and the functioning button. Maybe it was just a bug.

Regardless, I'm glad it's working right now, makes downloading JuliaEllie's mods considerably easier.

There a chance in Hell of this rather amusing mod being updated to Alpha 11?  Sadly I'm not a modder so I'm not certain how difficult it would be to "Updaterino" the thing.

Just figured I'd ask while I was poking around.

Would it be possible to upload this to somewhere other than Dropbox for those of us that don't have an account?

They seem to have more or less recently made it so that the site is useless without making an account with them, which not everyone wants/needs.

It's just a small request, understandable if you don't care for the idea.

That's the first time I've seen a mod uploaded to Yandex. Interesting.

The mod looks pretty cool regardless, so I'll try it out.

The Dropbox you have for the newest version of the mod doesn't seem to work.

The Download button is grayed out and we're unable to actually download anything without it.

Anyone else seeing that or is it just me?

I believe i got around it by mashing the button.
Try clicking it 2 or 3 times.
Worked when i just tried.

Even though the button appears grayed out, clicking on it should still trigger the download.  I know the Dropbox prompt to create an account is a little annoying, but I personally prefer it the ad-driven download sites.

As an alternative, I always add the mod to the original post as an attachment--you'll find the link at the bottom of the message.  You do need to be logged in to the forums to see that link.

For some reason, the attachment link for the mod was removed for a little while--I must have forgotten to update it with the latest version.  I have fixed it, and it should be available again.

Unfortunately "mashing the Download button" on Dropbox does not seem to work for me, though I don't intend to spend an hour sitting here trying to stab the thing until it works.

I can certainly understand your dislike of ad-driven sites after downloading so many mods from Mediafire, but maybe the Nexus would be a slightly lesser evil.  At least that site doesn't have pop-up ads or get randomly blocked by antivirus software.  It does require an account for some things, but these mods are usually simple to install so users likely won't need one.

In the end the choice is yours. As long as we can download your amazing mods from somewhere I'll be more or less content with it.
Keep up the good work.

I'm aware, Skullywag.

It just made me think of this mod at the time. Thought maybe the guy was a fan of the thing.

I actually saw someone in another game using the name Flammenwerfer for their character/mech.  They weren't half bad either.

Your mods' influence is spreading, JuliaEllie.

I seem to have encountered a minor problem with stacks of Silicon that fell from the sky.

They don't seem to register with the crafting tables as existing Silicon, they don't look the same as the crafted stuff either.

Any ideas?

That's Glittertech silicon. It and MD2 silicon are not interchangeable.

Unfortunate but good to know.

Thanks for the info.

Those frackin Demonic hogs, man. o.O Those things kill half the people that enter through whatever corner of the map they're living in. XD

We love this mod.  Keep up the good work.

I can hazard a guess at two mods together that might cause this out of the many I was using, but I'm no coder so I'll just keep the names to myself for now.

The mod and game itself work fine despite the obvious bug with the missing images, so even if someone else is unlucky enough to get that problem it's only a minor annoyance.

Keep up the good work, EdB.

Edit: My God I'm an idiot. The simplest solution to that problem was staring me in the face and I didn't even notice until now.

Just put a hat or a helmet on the guy and everything goes back to normal. o.O
I feel kind of silly for taking so long to actually figure that out..

On the off chance I'm right and it is a thing with the hair, I have a guess as to which mod is causing some of the problems.

As for email, if you're willing to send me one of yours in a PM I'll send over the file you requested.
