I also live in the desert abit tribal stylish.. Raiders are free food and the gear they wear/use can be sold for food and other stuff C: Im not pickish! I take every little bit of stuff I can because everyday is a struggle in the desert ://

Okay thanks! c: It seems like the raw meat dosent spoil either but my people eat it very fast. Im running a sort of village build with not to many people living in my colony to decrease the raider spawns. Still looking for ways to better defend my home though.

Im living in a desert (Genius place to start right?) and I just want to know if animals reproduce/respawn? If not then im sort of screwed.. Well there is always human meat but that breaks down my people way to fast.

Just faced 3 of them in battle. R.I.P Mellor. All he needed was two pila(s?) and then he was down. Nearly lost my colony because of those damn things. Tribal sniper rifles from hell I tell you.

I choose Cassandra Classic as my story teller because she gives me a good challenge :D Sometimes I go with Randy if I want to have epic amounts of lulz ^^

For characters I always have atleast one colonist who excel at shooting stuff. The rest are just rather random.

I choose the ''largest'' in the Small category.

And for my town I always build my settlement with stand alone housing. I might put some rooms into the side of a mountain. I never liked building bases inside mountains since I find them easy to defend (Except when giant centipede killer robots arrive D:)

I would love to write some pages on the wiki. I have never tried it before but I am tired of the wiki being so thin and out of date so I will give it a shot! :D

Ideas / Melee weapons!

Im not sure if this has been said before but how about we add some melee weapons to the game! We have plenty of guns but we need some melee weapons! How about spears (throwing spears maybe? ;3) or clubs. Then when you get abit more advances you can get swords and bats and stuff like that. And if we get melee weapons we can finally use the melee still! C:

Not sure if I am allowed to post one of mine but here it goes! (Just PM if I should remove xP)

I call it Tribal Society:

Your colonists are only allowed to build houses out of stone walls and floors! (Doors are okay but they may not be powered!). Oh and no beds.. Only sleeping spots! No power either.
You are allowed to have a growing area and butchers table and stonecutters table.. Duh. But no dispensers or anything! Remember technology is bad bad bad. You may only get weapons from dead raiders (or drifters by). You are allowed to capture people and turn them to your side.. Or kill them and eat them!.

*EDIT* Oh and I forgot something! One man has to be the leader (Or Tribal Chief if you will) of the tribe! He may not do anything really except fight, cook and grow.. And you may make defenses of Stone walls but no sandbags! Good luck c:

More enemies would be a nice addition. Killing the same ''Generic Raider Joe Nr. 1'' time and time again gets abit boring. More disasters! How about some diseases? Or how about Storms?.

Tents would be cool aswell!. Now that I come to think about it, it would be cool if you could make a sort of tribal colony.. Living in tents, hunting muffalos! Capturing passers by and trading them for guns and food?.

Talking about passers by.. How about the drifters dosent just walk from one end of the map to another how about they sometimes stay for awhile? If they are wounded get healed and maybe get a bite of nutrident paste or two. (Or human flesh if you are such a colony...).

Travelling merchants! Not just space ships flying around but merchants who come and go on foot? And and!... Oh? What? Am I ranting? Is my writing style to annoying? To big ideas?.. Oh.. Well.. Raiders have just landed again so I gotta go! Been nice chatting! *runs off with his Lee-Einfield*

Okay what does fear do? Is it something you can use to ''oppress'' your settler with like in Tropico Pirate cove for example or is it just not worth it at all. I saw you could build ''gibblet cages'' so thats why I ask x3

And what is the penalty for cannibalism? Does the people go nuts or do they become unhappy?. The reason for this question is because I started to have this problem with bodies piling up. I found out that you could just throw molotovs on them and burn the bodies that way but I also saw that you could use them at the butchering table.. I hope some of you guys can answer my questions c:

Awesome ideas! But it would be cool with more threats aswell! But I still believe you should be able to make turrets from day one since I find it hard defending without (You can call me a noob) xP

I like the idea of traps but simple ones.. I never really liked blasting charges since they where way to overpowered.. But traps like bear traps and maybe a few mines would be really cool!
