Wish granted, albeit it uses the cut / paste function, and this is posted on a MLP forum, much to the confusion of everyone there, which subsequently gets your IP banned for being involved.

I wish there was a repeat of the towel of babel incident, but in reverse, forcing everyone to speak the same language globally. preferably english

yeah, I think reactors put off a LOT of heat IIRC, so you either want it outdoors (its a spaceship part so is rain proof) or with LOTS of ventalation....preferably the former

heat can build up to nasty levels till it causes a chain reaction of causing pawns to catch on fire and make more heat : As a lesson, use stone to insulate risky heat zones like fridges, reactors, or other crap. I've always used a "burn chamber" for removing trash and bodies, where I pile them up and then burn them : this was always in a stone room, with a stone wall, stone door, and while the chamber would get up to 2k Fahrenheit, it would never raise the interior more than 20 degrees for a short burst. This was also helped by the hallway being very long, but thats something to keep in mind.

It should be self explaining with no deep thinking required. What do you think happens to the importance of getting cloth etc and to do tailoring if you can recycle clothing in this game?
Recycling clothing with say, a 10 - 20% return rate really wouldn't be that significant, but would help out.

I don''t think its an awful idea, and it should never give more than 50% cloth back ever, but I think this might be a good idea.

As for the response about it being too easy, isn't it easy to get cloth with any means? farming cotton, hunting, ect?

clothing really shouldn't be terribly rare, and it would help with the whole "deadman" clothing concept.

it IS a pretty dumb thing : colonist should seek tables with more gusto than right now, as pretty much everyone would want this, particularly for breakfast in the morning

I can understand lunch in the mines, or when super far away, but its a bit much right now

Well, I voted for sticky but honestly wanted to vote no : the game isn't deep enough IMO where world seeds would do very much, I think. But maybe a couple updates could change that.

I figure even if we had a sticky, but especially subforum, it would collect dust for the most part.

neat idea : reminds me of the cartoon of rimworld where the abrassive girl gets bionic eyes after a week being blind, and is very happy for several days.

I approve this, and perhaps even applied to getting new limbs.

Granted, albeit you suffer from a condition where you are highly sensitive to the desires and opinions of others, and they become yours, making you use this device for others because you want to obey them. This also makes your life rapidly spin out of control as you end up being controlled by anyone near you, to the point you suffer an ego death in a months time.

I wish I had a high powered laser to used as a conceal carry, considering it bypasses most "firearms" law  :)

Just rename this to the most off topic thread on ludeon ever lol.

B0rsuk, it has its flaws, but what alternatives are there that WORK? Lashings, corporal punishment, and other things work but also leave terrible damage. Maybe we should try corporal punishment again in law? would free up prisons, and be more effective...

On topic, I think it is a bit odd for this to happen in game. I almost want to advocate for a "kinsey scale" approach to things, except this would anger people also, if not moreso. I do think that instead, MAYBE it should be adjusted so males do not approach gay males if straight : I know in the subject of "incidental homosexuality", outside prisons (this honestly isn't incidental, its sadism and true homosexuality imo) its generally from a sexually frustrated male being asked : thats the common story, a man with blue balls with a gay dude, tranny, trap, or something similar offering head, and the guy saying to himself "close enough". I think most straight men wouldn't actively persue a gay man unless the gay man shown interest first, especially with the deep stigma behind homosexuality.

I know this was removed from my signature but I think its worth noting that the supreme court decision protecting "hate speech" makes a very fine distinction between the USA and everywhere else in the world

Currently in america, short of ACTUAL calls to violence (such as serious calls to "gas da jews", or whatever else idiots call for), hate speech is considered not a thing. Theres senator talks to REMOVE political correctness in universities (may it be removed, and burn in hell) talk of the stuff in europe, and talk or terrorism across the world, which up till RECENTLY (the van attack that MAYBE killed 1 person) was only Islamic for the most part.

However, in Europe, people are being JAILED for saying Islam is bad, for teaching dogs to reacts to "gas the jews" as a crude joke, and theres a legitimate fear that, despite muslims raping women and children, bombing, stabbing, and causing other elements of chaos, that people CANNOT speak out against it

This to me shows Europe is no longer part of the free world : they do not have the right to free speech, as hate speech is a severe limitation of it.

Speech is absolutely critical, and in the end, even if I called someone the most dirty things in the book, spit vile, awful words at them, they are grownups and can refute whatever I say, or ignore it : limiting it brings in a massive potential for abuses, which is why you are seeing what I believe is the start of a European genocide over there. This all started BECAUSE censorship was a massive thing, BECAUSE the voice of european people could not ring out saying "WE DO NOT WANT IMMIGRANTS", because all who try end up IN JAIL.

Imagine if a man raped your daughter, and complaining about it got you thrown in jail for hate speech : is this moral? "hate speech" is a victim-less "crime", nobody is hurt by it, and the idea that it leads to violence is subjective : I could criticize anyone, and any whacko could go out and kill them because they are mentally ill, but that is not my fault, especially if I'm intellectually honest about, which I often try to be : I try and seperate out the different types of muslims, and muslims who are modern reformists, who SPEAK IN ENGLISH in mosques, and are not involved with terror should be permitted : however, mosques which are involved in terror like the FINSBURY MOSQUE, deserve the Imam to be drawn and quartered, and the mosque forcibly taken away by the state : Eventually a country MUST put itself above the "needs" or terrorists, or the country will be destroyed.

But that is a key distinction just to keep in mind folks : in many places people like keg WOULD BE ARRESTED if they said anything like what I say : but in the USA, we have freedom, freedom which has been robbed from them. And so I take with a crate of salt anything FROM europe, because I know at the end of the day they would risk their life to speak out : and this is ridiculous, that expressing your opinion on something would put you in danger. This is why I say YES, Europe has become a bit of a hell hole, and is currently NOT free, and free speech is NOT a thing there

Beyond that, you guys should review some of the stuff from the US senate hearing on free speech : they even touch on neo nazis, KKK, and truly vile groups : but they say that despite them being disgusting, vile, horrible, awful, that they should have the RIGHT to speak out, and they should have the RIGHT to express contrary views to others : and likewise, anyone pushing ANYTHING, has the OBLIGATION to answer questions : which has been a core problem of this thread, with accusations of bigotry, racism, and other crap flying about without any logical argument : its been the main strategy of the left, and its not working : call me a racist bigot, I don't care because I know I'm not, and I know you cannot make a concise argument for it.

Granted, but absolutely nothing changes because gender as the SJW's, transexuals, transgenders, gender fluids, fluid genders, and fluids FROM genders all say its a social construct which doesn't even exist. In short, I'm completely unaffected, as my SEX as a male stays the same, and gender was always subjective as hell anyway, and made not important due to people obsessing about it. Essentially all the worry about a label I didn't even use was removed from me : I am called he because I have a "little he" downstairs, and thats not gender, thats sex, and nobody ever had ANY scientifically "definite" gender, but most people have a scientifically definite SEX.

You are also now a raging transphobe too.

I wish food trucks had decent sushi, which doesn't make me sick / start squirting Hershey
