Ideas / surface ruins and random generation

i think it might be cool to see at rare occasions a small part of a destroyed colony (ruins and dead scattered) these ruins can then be used to find resources or as a quick start up shelter. im not asking for mass colony's but maybe a shack or two ruined or impression of a large buildings would be a small touch to a random generation in the world. or small tunnel systems where a previous settler attempted to mine into the rock.

on the note of pre generated buildings, you could also perhaps think about old mining outposts or military outposts generated into the world with hostile turrets or people, but lots of resources or a strong gun as a pain for gain scenario. these could be far away from the spawn to not interact with the settler to not cause early game harassment but could add a dynamic into the game
things like
mining station with a building on the edge of the cliff face with one or two high level miners and a turret or two guarding them
a military outpost situated far from spawn with 3-5 soldiers with high shooting
a science lab with research station and easy to gain colonists with high research and doctoring.

these are just a few things i think would be kinda cool to see or modded in(playing too much starbound)
