I was just teaching a friend how to play and he gets his first visitor to his colony. Turns out his first visitor was my name in game guy. He was freaking out over it.

It works fine, I built a complete underground base in a mountain and made it to year 31. It's all about how you build your base.

It scales off your colony wealth, try playing randy 160% I see 200-250 tribes people in some of my attacks.

I completely agree. It's just kind of weird to have beds in the middle of a room.

I like the idea of making a persons social skill fit into trading.
Say you have 0 social skill on a person, that 40,000 dollar gold thing only sells for 1000 because you can't convince the merchant to pay more, while on the other side a skill of 15 or so gets you the full amount and so on. Allows you to use the skill more than just talking to each other.
