When one goes ice skating you pay the guy 5 bucks to use their ice sheet but you've also spent 300$ on skates from a 3rd party so you dont need to share someone else's foot sweet. I'm curious whether we are at a point where the mods have eclipsed the vanilla platform. 'Cause what we are really asking for (with the exception of UI luv) is expansions on the vanilla content.

I've asked him this question and he says its "on the list" for A10. Vanilla UI needs luv for sure.

How does the rebalance of steel (please change the name) effect wood use? Im a huge fan of the differnt colors of wood you can mod in and it would be a shame to be stuck with metal only furniture. I was testing on a desert map so I totally missed this change.

Keep in mind even if yuo got it today you'd still need to wait for all the mods to be updated.

Since the tale system seems to manifest itself in art I'm thinking any contribution to character lore will be accessible too late in the development of the colony. So we are left with celebrations of beer and drug culture as the only way to expand on the individuality of the character ?

One thing I think is missing from the storyteller system is more of a focus on individual colonists. Something to bring out the characters and help them move beyond "the guy thats good at so and so skill". What sort of systems do you think would be easy to build that could provide for character story individuality and have a meaningful impact on the game.

In DF one can build infinite stockpiles that take up one square but store an unlimited amount of one item. Thats one way the larger fortresses cut back on stockpile micro. Barrels and bins and various other storage items is certainly the less cheaty version of that. There is also a much deeper crafting system that eats up quite a bit of materials you have lying around. There are mods out now for Rimworld that provide infinite storage for people play the long game.

Bugs / clothing duplication

I'm not sure if this has been reported before but when you strip a prisoner and order the stripper to put on the clothes, the prisoner will try and grab the item to put back on at the same time. More often than not I'll end up with a both people wearing the same item. It duplicates when you've ordered your guy to haul the item too but that causes the pawn hauling to not be able to drop the item if the prisoner is wearing it.

I just wanted to say I'm having a lot of fun with the droids and thanks for the mod. Hopefully you can talk Ludeon into incorporating it into the main game as there are all sorts of story possibilities with droids slaves. There totally needs to be a low tech abandoned droid faction that raids you looking for parts from time to time.

How about a "companion" bot that does wardening and has the social trait opposite of abrasive?

I've actually got the world seed. Its the faction names/balance that I want to preserve this particular world. When you regen the world with the seed the land stays the same but the factions change.
