hm you could just cover the hive with wood blocks like this:

Then the hive cant reproduce,and the jelly spawns on the spaces.there is a chance your colonist could get hurt through the space,therefore it'll be great to use conveyor belts from a mod

well, the MAI mod featuring robots does something similar it creates a robot that is controlable like a human,but has 0 skills and can be spawned normally and controlled.alterations can be made to actually make it

actually spawning a colonist in requires dll,thats why i failed to do this.shame none of the popular modders try to do this.
