It always bothers me when my colony is using advanced technology like power armors and pulse rifles, yet our nobles insist using wood-burning brazier and other medieval things to decorate their throne rooms. If we add a factor that can scale the nobility. then we can add other royal-related furniture and decorations without messing with original def every time.

I am thinking add a room factor "dignity"(or whatever you want to call it) to thrones, braziers, drapes, pianos... etc. Include some fancy furniture or artwork  like armchairs and sculptures, the higher royal title is, the higher dignity its throne room requires, instead of more specific decorations.

Then modders can use this factor to create different throne room stuff like hologram brazier, waterfall drape,  all kinds of possibility!

I have a idea for mod that add more efficient but expensive, power-consuming work table in mid-late game.
Here is my idea, but you can change stats as you wish.

1. Auto smith (advanced electric smithy)
