This is very strange. I had already done a fix for this and all testing has them moving at the same speed as un-upgraded colonists. Only the crematorius moves slower, which is intentional. Which droids are moving slower for you? Do you have any mods that could be affecting them?
I don't think I've updated since I reported the problem. I just updated now, started a new colony (the update wasn't save game friendly), and used God mode to quickly build some for testing. It looks like the speed issue is fixed. And changing the speed in the xml works now. I could never understand why a robot, that is like a bionic person, is as slow as a unmodified person. I think they should at least be 20% faster which is what I'm going to set it to. If you ever add an upgrade then it should upgrade to 40% which would match a human with both legs bionified. Is that even a word? Well it is now.  ;D

Is it possible to repair droids? If so, how?
They don't go themselves but you can manually tell them to rest in a hospital bed until healed.

Those 2 component are going to make all the difference. Thank you. I see you didn't add the other splitter I suggested. That's a good call as it's easy enough to simulate a left/right splitter and it would only take up 1 extra square.

The color codes are an improvement too but why didn't you color code the splitter too? You could have made the arrows red and the numbers green. Like this.

That would have been helpful to me.

And even though you rounded out the corner a bit it's still not round so I imagine items will still getting stuck in the corner. :) It needs a nice even curve so items get pushed around the corners smoothly, like this.

Although at least now it'seasier to see which way it's facing.

I like the wheel on the builder droid, although technically we don't see anythings legs and the wheel would count as the droids legs, so we shouldn't be able to see it. I don't know if I like the combat droid. I would imagine that the combat droid would have more armor so would look bigger, not just painted red.

@Foxador I already reported the slow droid speed so Mipen should be aware of it. I thought it was 2.8. Well I can tell you changing the speed in the def doesn't work unfortunately so mipen will have to fix it.

Strange that I'm getting so much interest in this mod, considering that the pump zone is small enough to visualize without it. I would have thought that my Roof Support mod would have been more useful.

LoL.

I had to copy and paste that somewhere else to read it.

Well... The windows are re-sizable. :)

Well that was a pretty good description of how you do it. Thanks. I'll keep them in mind the next time I work on a texture.

Version 1.0 has been released. Check out the first post.

Yeah, one of my pet peeves are people who write stuff and don't bother to reread what they wrote. So they don't notice that what they wrote was gibberish.  ;D

Well you still need sun lamps for hydroponics. So unless he is also getting rid of hydroponics then we still need the sun lamps.

I like the idea of moving soil. Imagine picking up some soil from a location you don't need soil. Picking up the soil leaves behind stone. You carry the soil to where you need it and place it on some stone thereby making it soil and plantable.

This way you don't actually increase growable areas but just have the ability to shuffle the soil around so you can make the most of sun lamps. You would still need to use hydroponics to increase your farms beyond the available soil.

You would need to use front, back and side textures for it to look right (unless you did a top view texture).

My paint.net does layers, and I do like using them, but I don't think it does dodge and burn. I think I need a more complex piece of software. I'll see if I can find one that does doge and burn and is really easy to use, and hopefully free

You can use the Sun Lamps outside.

1. Create a temporary room around the lamp with 4 walls. Add another wall as a support on the corner of the sun lamp area. Remove the 4 walls around the sun lamp and, viola, you have a roof over the sun lamp so no more shorts.

2. Enclose an outside growing area with walls and make it into an indoors room. Then you will need the sun lamps to keep the plants alive. This is what I do especially so I can control temperature as well.

What I want to know is how do you create textures like that? And I don't mean the imaginative design, which are great by the way. I mean the coloring and shading. It doesn't look like a 3D model but the shading looks like it might start as a 3D model then possibly pained by hand? How's it done?

I've reported the above F9 issue in the bug section.
