Great mod, but, there's an issue. People in cryptosleep caskets, and even occasionally raiders spawn with bionic arms in...strange places (Saw one with a bionic arm on his jaw, another with an arm on his toe.) Also, turrets can't seem to be repaired.

Mods / [Mod Request] Non-lethal Weapons

I have an issue. It's not a big one, but it is a bit of an annoying one. I never take prisoners. They all die before they hit the ground. I suggest some non-lethal weapons such as Tear Gas, Nets, Rubber bullets(Eleazar suggested those), tasers, cattleprods, traps, etc.

Yeah, I can reproduce it, anyways. Spiked up to 2000C and briefly started a fire, didnt get a screenshot of that one, though. I did, however, got a screenshot of my cell hitting 1965C.

Great work on everything else, though. Love the shields, although the fortress shield doesn't seem to block air drop pods, had pirates drop on me twice. Still, no issue thanks to the other shields.


On further testing, what *looks* to be happening, hard to tell because it goes by so fast, is every time the heat passes through a vent, it's doubled. So, if 20 heat is doubled twice a second, or so 20x2=40, 40x2=80, 80x2=160, 160x2=320 We're already looking at lethal temperatures in about 6 seconds. Took about an hour in-game time for this to happen to a test cell I made:

Issue with the vents, I used them for my prison block, put a heater in 1 cell and vents in all of them, it worked great for 15 seconds. Then, rotating through my 3 cells, a heatwave of 1883C degrees torched my only prisoner, it burned her heart for gods sake. It was scary. It came back around and finished her off before I could rescue her.

Mmm, thats actually a good idea. Tear gas. Short range, little to no damage, but takes them down for a half a minute or so. Melee, so far, seems the most effective way to take prisoners. Issue is, melee never works in anything but your own house. Never once have any of my colonists even been touched by a melee, excluding animals.

Prolly a bad title, but couldn't think of any other way to word it. Basically, I'm killing too many enemies. I want to take more prisoners, but 9/10 times I split their torsos open and they're dead before they hit the ground. I think it'd be helpful to have a system where you could set your sharpshooter(s) to target a specific part of their body (Head, torso, legs, arms, etc.)
