Whenever I try to play my old colonies from Alpha 1 in Alpha 2 it starts loading then the entire screen becomes white and the game never finishes loading. Please help! Although new colonies that I just created work fine.

For some reason, when I try to play my old colony from alpha 1 in alpha 2 mac it just makes the entire screen white and I have to quit the game. Please help!
