As the air lock trades heat with the outiside, it also trades with the inside. So the tile in the airlock is higher than the temperature of the fridge, and lower then the outside temp.

Fun fact, air isolation (Wall - Space - Wall - Fridge) dosent work anywhere as good as double insulation. The heat exchange is too high.

Mind if I change the subject a litle??

I was always polite with people, trying to help then and saying hello to people known. Recently i've been through a work express jorney, me and my fathers company works with sales of plate heat exchangers here in Brazil. So until december last year i've been working like crazy, weekends, holidays, even left my fiancee at the time over a month without seeing me because I had to work.

That time passed, I got really tired, but I archived what I wanted. I bought a small apartmente, furnished it, saved money, bought a car and got married.

Of course, my family helped my, my fiance too, men, she really is the love of my life, now we are married btw, but mostly, I worked pretty danm hard and got real results, even with our country in a deep crisis, our company got a growth of almost 20% last year.

During that time got in varius arguments, stopped talking to some friends, and stopped being polite. The world is kinda... grey. The joy of my life is still my wife, but I find myself not enjoying everyday, like once I was.

So i'm trying to get back to my old self, and i'm starting to be polite to people again. Soon i'll get in touch with my friends, and i'll see what happens after.

Hope i'm doing the right thing.

Which wouldn't happen in real life, unless you use a cooling tower or a heat exchanger with water to dissipate part of the heat.

All electric coolers use heat exchangers based on the carnot cycle.  What did you think the ones in RW use?

I believe that they use the same system as the eletric coolers. Since you have a standalone cooler that can only condensate the gas with a fan or air-cooler. For it's efficiency, the local temperature and the wet bulb themperture must be bellow the condensation temperature, that is usually around 35°C to 40°C.

If room or ambient temperature is above condensation temperature, you will never have the full condensation. Leading to alot of problems. In RL you would need use cooling tower (not sure if it would work, since it's based in the air cooler, but with water together) or a plate/tube heat exchanger with water at a lower temperature passing through.

It is a survival game, I love when things like that happen at the begging. Sometimes you have to kill a colonist and eat his raw flesh to survive. Then you get through that horrible experience, forget it and move.... But then some jerk named Bert goes on and makes a sculpture of that act. And because it has a over 100 beuty you keep it in your dining room. Dammit Bert!

I'm not trying to be rude but... Is this how people are gonna be when game releases on steam?

Toxic Fallout has 3 main points:
1 - Destroy your crops.
2 - Kill EVERY creature on the map.
3 - Make that your colonists don't leave the base for too long.

Once I made a city colony, with roads, wooden houses, greenhouses and such. No walls or anything.

When I was hit by a toxic fallout, I had to think quick. Put everyone at constructing, build walls around my base so that the toxic buildup wouldn't happen. I had to rely on the foods I had in my stockpile and give other priorities to my colonists. Made clothes, made stoneblocks and etc, etc.

Had me limited, if during this period a siege started, I would probably have lost the colony.

Ummmm, my guy just got dementia from oxic buildup. What can you do against this bs event. Its stupid af.

No, it's not stupid. It is a rough ideia that can still be polished but right now is working as intended.

Even if the temperature is 50°C outside, if you have enough coolers it will maintain your temperature inside below 0°C.
