I'm actually working on my own defense mod, for turrets a good place to start is the Building security tab. ;)

Unfortunatly in rimworld aliens are non cannon.
I like the idea for a solar powered turret though but more a mod thing then a vanilla thing.

One issues with this is when pawns come under attack the game imediatly goes to regular speed also i alway play the game on times 3x speed leads to less waiting around.

I love the concept of super-soldier raiders though. 3 or 4 fully-bionic pawns with good gear that are late-game. Yeah, it's just food for the killbox probably, but it would be NEAT for people who aren't killboxing, and would be as viable a counter as you can have to a bionic colonist.

If your looking for faction thats above the run of the mill pirate may I suggest my mod it adds Mercs. They even have special units for breaking through kill boxes.

Its actually no where near ready for release its weapons are place holder and textures unfinished as such it hasnt been balanced yet. However it managed to sneak into the latest version which was fine until it decided to play with the mechs. To clarify it is a mercenary and will eventually spawn with the mercs as heavy fire surpport and meat shield.

and you can trade with the mercs and EXO-19 won't show up on existing save however if one them are already spawned in the save you should be able to kill with the kill command, word of warning in testing i have had to use the kill command more then once to kill them.

Nope its mine and it been changed so it shouldn't spawn anymore but i can't get rid of any in play so try using the kill command on it.

Im the developer of the Talons faction and I am currently stuck with my faction opting for parkas when spawning rather then their designated armour. Any ideas for fixes or work arounds?

This was a bug it was fixed on the workshop version and i just now updated the forum version sorry.
