In the most recent update I've noticed when people are hungry they won't get food unless you force them too. When I run out of food and have wild plants for them to cut they ignore them and die unless I force them to cut the plants. Wish they were smart Enough to get food when there hungry in any way Even if it's not lying around  8)

Sup! I'm splinterbee and i am a big fan of rimworld. I first discovered it by watching gamersdissent. My favourite type of games are sandbox colony builders which is exactly what rimworld brings. Can't wait to see the progression of the game 8)

Comfort things to make your people happy such as: paintings or art tables just for your people to draw or write. Sure calms my nerves.
Couches to sit and relax when tired but not quite ready to sleep. Tv that requires antenna for people to stare at for hours on end.

So I was lookin at grave storage so they would stop dumpin dead animals in them and I noticed there was an option that said mechanoid. What is it? My idea is they are an ancient race if robots who have achieved self awareness and are deciding to rid there world of humans. Possibly a hard mode enemy for when raiders aren't  good enough anymore. They would have super explody lasers that would be like long ranged grenade launchers.

What are your thoughts. Think it's a good idea? Any news on them. ???

This happened to me on my first randy random except there were 9 who spawned right on top of us. Ironically my people still survived since the raiders lit themselves on fire ;D

Once upon a time there was a happy little colony with 4 people. Azzy, soral, Brianna, and Rex. One day there was a raider attack. There were 3 armed with pistols and Molotov's. I decided to execute my regular plan. Wait for them to bash open the door so my guys can beat them up into a pile of broken bones and bruised muscles. They flooded inside but my plan was flawed. My people attacked the pistol guy and the other Molotov men threw fire Into my base. My colonists were forced outside as the rain put out the fire. The first one down was azzy. I got soral to rescue her as the others fought. As azzy was incapacitated in her metal bed soral returned to the battle. The fight was fierce and the pistol guy was punched in the face and Was knocked out. Fire ravaged my crops and all my colonists were incapacitated and 2 raiders were dead in a mess of tattered clothes and flames. The other one began beating down the door to finish azzy once and for all. Finally azzy awakens from the beds healing property's. With one swift punch she knocks out the final raider and uses her fat body to stomp him into the floor leaving a red crater were he used to lay. She uses all her might to carry back the first colonist to her bed. Then the next one who only had 2 health. I thought it was over for the last colonist who needed rescue who had only 2 health but just before she dies azzy bursts threw picking him up and sprinting him across the sand to his bedroom were he lies down with 1 health remaining. After a long while everyone is revived back to health and azzy gets a well deserved day off after all the hustle. I was indeed very luck cause all azzy could do was clean, haul and doctor and if she couldn't doctor nobody would have made it.

Please tell me whatcha think and be sure to check my other upcoming posts.

This colony ended up having 8 colonists who all died in one massive explosion of grenades and turrets. So always remember, Create a backup save.

Once upon a time there was a town called explosion town. It was a peaceful place with 5 colonists. Hays, lander, epic, awesome and salt.
These 5 people were doing there daily chores of farming and researching until a group of raiders landed near by. When I went to see I was shocked to behold a group of 9 raiders on only my 5th attack. (Cassandra Classic difficulty) they had shotguns,  incendiary launchers and pistols but we had something far greater. Turrets... The attack was long. Lasted days, bullets and lasers flying left and right. Then a surprise raider comes in and tosses a few grenades wiping out my turrets. The blasts awake my colonists and spills hays potato-Os on the fresh carpet. As the raiders come to the door and punch it down I get my shot gunners on point with my launcher guys on the side of the door. It finally brakes and the raiders flood in. 1 goes down in a splatter of blood, then another burns down from my incendiary cannon. My guys go in for a melee but one gets shot down, salt... Hays rescues her as the others punch down the raiders the fight was minutes 3 raiders left 3 colonists down with salt getting treatment from hays. As hays goes to rescue the others he's shot down and slides across the floor in a blast of pink mist. The raiders begin to blow up my base as it caves in and salt resting  in bed unable to do anything. The raiders begin finishing the job when a group of wild muffalos go mad and turn to my side the raiders tried to run but there us no running from a charging muffalo. One by one they are trampled and crushed. The rain falls on the burning base and the dead people of explosion town. One raider still alive left to lay in the sand as the sound if rain hits his body. He succumbs to his wounds and dies. I continue watching and day after wretched day salt finally awakens to rebuild her colony...
