yeah, with roleplay you can explain everything but in fact these killboxes are just some tower defence minigames.
and thats why i dont like the way it goes atm. is rimworld just another towerdefence game? as a mod i could live with it. but not in the vanilla game.
dont get me wrong. i've played tons of hours the tower def mod back in the wc3 days and i liked this very much.

alternative? i call it the real way to play. just go in and fight all the intruders. you maybe lose some colonists, but what? its war and losing soldiers is part of it. if you cant deal with that, play on build only mode.
