General Discussion / Caravan animals eating my crops!

Have you ever seen the Muffalos from a caravan entering your indoor farm and proceed to gorge themselves with your ALMOST RIPE DEVILSTRANDS? GODDAMN HELL, they grazed for a minute and destroyed almost one year of farming. Is there any way to stop it?

OK, thanks. Keep up the good work, your mod is the only one that dares to change radically the main concepts of the game. I think that it should be included into the main game, as soon as you finish polishing some fine details. For example, have you ever seen the Morphidians from Earth 2160? They would be a nice add on if you want to make your game more warlike. Obviously that requires weapons and some improved EVA suits with better protection and better stats...

It's me, or the research tree is still very unfinished? Why do I need to research pemmican in a place without meat and without animals? Can you publish a list of the useful research items?

By the way, I have noticed several times that some of my colonists become mentally ill (confused) without a cause. All their indicators were good, their mood was excellent and the only bad thought was something like "It's all too much". Bug or feature?

Wonderful mod, I am really enjoying it. May I suggest you to integrate the "prepare carefully" mod in yours? On Mars many skill  become useless, and rolling a decent colonist becomes even more a pain in the arse than before. Also, I would love to see some H.G.Wells themed flora and fauna, maybe in a separate module. I was thinking about something like:

Martian shrub: useless until researched, then they can be processed into some very resilient wire.

Martian orchids: very rare and terribly difficult to grow. They give a strong morale boost.

Martian cactaceae: their fruits can be processed into an hallucinogenic drug.


I would like to help you with this work, but I am a welder/fabricator and I cannot tell a line of code from a wheelbarrow. Sorry.

WTF, all the /Mods folder was set as read only... I set as read/write and now it works perfectly! Thanks, kind stranger! If we were on Reddit I would give you a gold!

Tried reinstalling in a different location after cleaning up the registry. Got a bunch of new errors. Will I be able to play someday?

15c, no mods installed, Win 10, I get this errors on startup. Deleting everything, including the config file, did not work. Downloaded Rimworld twice and reinstalled, no change. Used the utility to delete the registry entries, no change. Please help.

Hello, people.

I suffered the dreaded white screen/black screen on loading problem, at random intervals. After a while, I managed to understand that sometimes Norton antivirus does not like many files in the modded Rimworld. I included the Rimworld folder in the exclusion list for the scans, now my Rimworld is running without a glitch. I hope that this helps.

The idea is good, but the mod is broken and unplayable right now. Seeds are too rare and expensive, merchants do not stock them and when they stock them the price is absurd, way higher than a full stock of grown crops. Seriously, how in hell a stock of 20 potato seeds could be 10 times more expensive than 20 potatoes? That should be the contrary, otherwise we would not have developed agriculture...  The chance of getting seeds is very low: this is realistic, but it should be counterbalanced by making seeds cheap and very available.

Hello, I am having problems with the ductwork:



The network temp is 30 C in the small room, one square away from the room it falls to 14, two squares away and it is 8 C. Outside temp is 16, the heater is set to 31. Can you help?
